Who is more cursed at AO - Murray or Medvedev?

Neither managed to win the AO, although both fought for the AO title several times. Murray reached 5 finals, more than Agassi or Wilander, but he never made win, but his efforts always failed against the two greatest AO champions - Djokovic & Federer. Medvedev reached 3 AO finals and took 2-0 sets lead 2 times, but he never succeeded either. For both, AO has become a cursed tournament. Who is in a worse position, Andy because he lost more finals or Meddy because of two heartbreaking losses from 2-0 lead on sets?

Easily Med since he actually had chances unlike Murray. Murray obviously the more unlucky one.

It's happened to med twice. The first time at the ao '22 was nadal using his experience and variety to exploit meds back of the court position, and there wasn't much med could do to counter that.
This year against sinner, med was coming in fatigued after playing a lot of 5 setters and it took Sinner some time to settle into his first ever slam final. The 5th set you could see med just wasn't able to keep up with the court coverage.

Neither seem like outright chokes.

I say easily Murray, as he was cursed with mostly facing peak/prime Djokovic.

Medvedev blowing a 2-1 set lead to old Wawrinka in 2020/giving no opposition to old Djokovic with a muscle tear in 2021/blowing a 2-0 set lead to old Nadal in 2022/losing in straights to Korda in 2023/blowing a 2-0 set lead to first-time slam finalist Sinner in 2024 isn't being "cursed".

Both are very cursed. Also both play with very similar styles, perhaps lacking aggression when push comes to shove really hurt them at crucial times.
