Well, Nalbandian has done a lot better in Slams.. so in a way, Nalbandian deserves it. On the other side, Davydenko is less talented but has worked his ass off always, unlike Nalby.

Nalbandian for all the money

russian is playing on clay while all the others preparing for Wimbledon... and its easiest thing in the world to say "I don't like grass.'' Hope he will never win Slam

Davy is a harder worker in my opinion. He trains insanely hard and his ranking and recent results show that. I think Nalbandian is more naturally gifted though, and at his best is a better player, although his best seems to only come out in spurts. I guess it comes down to what you believe, does the harder worker or the more talented deserve the reward. I think Nalbandian is the best player to currently not have a slam, but Davy deserves one as well

I vote for Davy b/c he’s a workaholic and more hungry to win a slam.

This poll should include Tommy Haas.

These are my two favorite current players.
Both are the two best ball-strikers today. To say Davydenko is not talented is a joke. You can't teach clean ball striking.
That said, whoever will win a slam, if they do, is most deserving.
Davy ran into peak Fed twice in the semis of the USO.

neither, unless either of them ever win one, which is less likely than Federer and Nadal being knocked out in the 1st round at the AO.

Nalbandian is more deserving of 1 slam final, though.

Neither of them are so deserving it would be a shame if they didnt win one. I wouldnt consider either the best players to not win one. On the other hand neither are so undeserving they would be a weak winner like Gaudio or Johansson were. They are both strictly second tier players. I would say about on par with each other for their career (obviously Davydenko is by far the better player right now). Nalbandian just happens to be an overhyped one, and Davydenko an underrated one who doesnt even get credit for being a solid top 6 player for so long.
