Winning USO at age 20 screwed up safin for years he says as the expectations on him were so huge and he couldn't deal with it. Could MB?? His ATP career is without a title, and who knows how it would affect him, easy going as he may seem. Maybe not in a good way.

A lot of people have jumped on the Baghdatis Bandwagon. His exhuberance and smile is so infectious. And he always looks like he's having a ball out there playing tennis. He's the polar opposite of Roger (and the other guys he's played), who are always so serious and rarely play/goof around. Ah, to be young and new to the tour again! He's the ingenue and this is his coming out party.

I wish him well in the finals. Let's have a good, classic match. If he actually wins well, that would be quite the shocker wouldn't it? It would certainly give the AO some needed spark and excitement after that disappointing women's final.

Just basing it on his inspiring performances, shining personality and enthusiastic fan support I would say that Baghdatis deserves to win this title. He brings joy back to playing the game of tennis.

A shame but I have a feeling that tonight's match will be another one sided borefest with Federer as victor. yawn.

You obviously didn't watch a match from Federer during this aussie open. Not tested? He was brought to 5 sets against Haas, he almost went 2-1 down against Davydenko where he was down 6 set points! Davydenko really brought it to Federer and it was without a doubt a great test for Federer....pfff soft draw, I hope you get a soft draw when you are the first seed of the tournament and Baghdatis didn't deserve a soft draw going into the aussie open.Nobody knew about him!
