I have a PK 7G on the way as it is the next attempt at a slightly lighter racquet to replace the i.prestige MP I am currently playing. I really like the feel and control of the I.prestige MP, but it is a bit too heavy with leather, OG, dampener at nearly 13oz and would like a little extra pop on winners. Without the leather, I find i.prestige MP a bit too HH. I could use a little extra help with my 2HB, so the extra length may help a little with that as well.
I played with another 4.0 friend's racquet at the other end of the spectrum from the i.prestige MP in the Babolat APD GT, and he had a much harder time returning the increase in pace and spin from my groundstrokes. I didn't like the hollow feel at all though.
From all I've read, it looks like the 7G could have some of the benefits of both racquets.
I have read many past posts of those singing the praises of the 7G, so is anyone still playing it? And anyone settled on a great mod for this racquet?
