Who is the Better Singer? Bruce Dickinson or Rob Halford

Who do you think is the better singer? Or should I say who do you prefer???

Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden
or Rob Halford of Judas Priest

Great question and after all these years I still can't decide. If my life depended on it probably Halford as his scream is more pleasing on the ear.

They did of course sing together on "The One You Love To Hate" on the Halford album Resurrection.

Great album, although that song isn't that great.

Dickinson's got the range. Plus he sings opera when he's not touring with whatever rock band he's in. His vocal range and strength are amazing.

I didn't know about the opera thing - I've heard that Jeff Tate was operatically trained. Interesting.

I always thought he had the range because he played the girl half in his off stage lifestyle.

Liked Dickinson better than Halford. Lemmy better than both. Glenn Danzig better than the three. But, Sanjiah was the greatest metal singer of all!

I'm surprised so many think Dickenson is better than Halford. Heck, Bruce isn't even the best singer for Maiden--that goes to Paul Di'Anno, who sang on their first two albums (still their two best efforts, if you ask me).
