Who is the greater outdoor player, Federer, Nadal or Djokovic?

Federer is definitely the most versatile, he doesn’t become a club tier player when it’s windy or when there’s a roof over his head. Plus we have this beautiful flat-ish line

It's interesting that Fed is above Nole in very slow since would assume it's the other way around. Curious to know if one can calculate wins by the bounce of the ball but those stats probably don't exist.

What's the confusion?
Djokovic can't play serve and volley on fast court
Versatile player thrive the challenge and don't threat to boycott a tournament because that he/she can't adapt to a different environment
The question was about who the greatest is which implies who had the most success. If the question was "who is the  best outdoors player" then yes, Federer would have a stronger argument.

They're virtually tied in outdoor win percentage. It's 84.47% for Djokovic and 84.45% for Nadal. When you break it down by surface though, it's much more complex than that. Nadal is like +~10% ahead on clay and Djokovic is +~6% on outdoor hardcourt and +~6% on grass. For me, it's hard to get a true picture unless you break it up into 3 surfaces/conditions.

True. Nadal and Djokovic are two best outdoor players ever.

If you aren't watching Rotterdam, you're truly missing out on some good tennis. Lehecka had his breakthrough there a few years ago, and Felix and Stef played a great final that same year. Sinner and La Monf have both had fabulous runs there. And that's just the past few years.

Yep, i have been foolish, but i am watching it and Dallas this year and tbh loving it. Its really nice to watch these smaller events and see how they are developing. Only event i will still struggle with is Miami though...that cube in a NFL stadium raises my BP!!
