Some people make it sound as Federer is full of himself and is obnoxious. Also the most arrogant of all time....I don't think so.

I believe it is Sampras.....who takes the cake on this.

i was at a tournament where raonic played doubles and after his match a girl asked him who he was lol

and pancho played 70 years ago who the heck knows his personality at least he doesnt get described as arrogant in his wiki page

Oh and btw, at the time of this posting, only YOU voted for Sampras.....while I wouldn't have voted Federer as most arrogant, it's nevertheless interesting to note that he's up there with 7, count 'em, [size=+1]7[/size] votes.

Yeah, Rios was the first guy I thought of before even seeing the list. Some of the people on the list are really just obnoxious jerks but not really arrogant. Rios was all of the above lol.
 
I voted for Connors simply because Serena Williams and Andy Roddick were not options. Also, Connors really was a giant tool.

Laver and Sampras shouldn't even be in this conversation. They weren't the arrogant type. The arrogant type would be the likes of Pancho or Jimmy Connors.
 
Serena takes the prize. She cursed out a lineswoman repeatedly and threatened her during the US Open, then later said, "Well, maybe I DID foot-fault." Huh? Compared to her, McEnroe and Tarango are creampuffs.
 
Would vote for Mac or Rios. Those listed don't come to me as especially arrogant characters at all. Ie Agassi -lol-

As for the ladies Shriekapova would be my choice.

tell me about it... i remember training by him on court at newks... guy thought he was God's gift to tennis. doesn't help that his dad is the way he is... guess he comes about it naturally.

Roddick arrogant? I don't think people read his interviews. He might come across like a jackass on court more than once and has said a few things which could be considered 'cocky' but nah, just idiots being idiots......again.

"Arrogant" is defined as "having or showing feelings of undeserved importance...". If you're a champion, as most of your voting options are or were, your importance is deserved. "Obnoxious" or "boorish" might be better adjectives to apply. Unless, you speak of Daniel Kholera...he was truly arrogant.

Raonic follows Sampras in more ways than one.....the guy is arrogant. In the near future...he will show his true colours.

I find it laughable that anyone chooses Nadal, he's the most modest winner, and doesn't ever try to claim he's the best. He seems to thrive more on the person that desires to do well, but is less than Fed, who he thinks is the best.
