Nole is top dog. Who’s next as of right now ?
So you dont have the Canadian ans Us Open champion in top 2? InterestingGood question. It's Novak and then some distance. Based on results, it's probably Medvedev but based on recent form I'm inclined to say Thiem.
Since losing to Fed at the WTF Nole has won 16 HC matches in a row and beat all other top 5 players in the process. This is impossible to answer. Truth is, Djokovic is the only consistent player on hardcourt right now.
US Open Champion.........................................................AO Champion.
The answer is easy: Novak Djokovic.
1. Novak
2. Nadal
2. Medvedev
4. Thiem
5. Fed
6. Tsitsipas
Nadal and Med a virtual tie. I wanna see more of Thiem before I put him above those two but his level at the AO was very good but the court did suit him basically perfectly. 2-5 is super close and I say Tsitsipas as a clear 6.
Yeah makes sense that the guy who cannot win a single set off Djokovic on HC is the best player in the world right now, considering they both are holding the same amount of big titles on HC currently.
Nadal holds Us Open and Canada. Djokovic holds AO and Shanghai (i think?). Thiem has Indian wells.
Right now id go 1. Nadal 2. Djokovic 3. Thiem. 4. Federer
Nadal gets the nod as he made quarters in australia whereas djokovic was last 16 in Flushing.
Think we have to put Medvedev over thiem then to be fair.Medvedev has Cincy and Shanghai, and Djokovic has AO and Paris. So Medvedev probably deserves to be there as well.
1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. Medvedev/Thiem
4. Federer
Lol. Nadal would not take a set against Nole on HC.Nadal holds Us Open and Canada. Djokovic holds AO and Shanghai (i think?). Thiem has Indian wells.

The only real question is who you've got at 3?
I voted Nadal because of USO. He played a very good AO. Thiem maybe third.
Fed had horrible AO and is nowhere near early 2019 form.
Medvedev and Tsitsipas have arguments in their favor as well.
Medvedev has Cincy and Shanghai, and Djokovic has AO and Paris. So Medvedev probably deserves to be there as well.
1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. Medvedev/Thiem
4. Federer
"Because of USO"
USO was terrible. Nadal played nobodies and almost lost!!
Djok beat a crippled Fed and cheated Theim in the final.
I have Novak at #2
While Federer lost to a nobody and Djokovic to a washed up Wawrinka. He still played tons better than both there.
Oh i get it. That was the best USO ever with Berretini Shwaztzman Chung Kokinakis.
He won the tournament. Most prestigious HC tournament in tennis. Nobody else on the list can say that."Because of USO"

1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. Thiem (would probably be #1 if he just won of his big finals)
4. Medvedev
5. Tsitsipas- WTF title almost has to put him here
6. Federer- no big titles or finals for awhile
7. Zverev- good last couple tournaments
8. Wawrinka
Thiem just beat an in form Nadal in a slam. Currently, Thiem > Nadal.
Medvedev has Cincy and Shanghai, and Djokovic has AO and Paris. So Medvedev probably deserves to be there as well.
Kyrgios. Acapulco and WashingtonSignificant hardcourt events current title-holders among top 10 (Slams, WTF, Masters, ATP500s):
Djokovic: Australian Open, Paris, Tokyo.
Nadal : US Open, Canada.
Federer : Miami, Dubai, Basel.
Thiem : Indian Wells, Beijing, Vienna.
Medvedev: Cincinnati, Shanghai.
Tsitsipas: WTF.
Monfils: Rotterdam.

Rafa is current Us open champ and Montreal masters champ. AO runner last year and quarter final this year. Rafa is above Thiem by quite a lot and only behind Djokovic.
