A lot of threads about the current crop of slam winners, but for something different, who is your favorite player among players now who haven't won a slam title in singles? For me is's Dolgopolov and Monfils! anyone else?
I assume you haven't seen his trade mark pushing linesman act. lolDavid Ferrer for me. If he was 5 years older or 7 years younger he would have a slam to his name. Have to admire his tremendous work ethic, his decency, his tenacity and humility.
Vamos David!

Nalbandian.. He and Safin should have been 4-6 time slam winners each and taken their fair of the share from Federer. They were his TRUE Rivals at the time. Contemporaries if you will. Agassi was a Sampras era holdover with a bad back in his 30s. Rafa was just out of grade school..
Nalbandian/Safin were the guys with the talent (way more than guys like Roddick, Hewitt, Davydenko, Ferrer, etc) who should have taken slams from Roger. Too bad they spent more time off the radar than on it
Such a WASTE Of talent. Its sickening
You are now in my dog house for your insult of Davy. At his best, his timing and ability to take the ball early and change its direction was unrivaled. I don't see how you can say Nalbandian and Safin were 'way more talented'.
Diller, obviously.
Kidding, but do I even have to explain to you?![]()

Mecir had so much talent that he was capable of completely pulverising players like Wilander, McEnroe and Lendl. He was an enigma, though, and unfortunate not to win a major. When he won 1987 Miami, he won 7 best-of-5 sets matches, including a 7-5, 6-2, 7-5 win over world number 1 Lendl in the final, which was even more one-sided than the scoreline suggests.
Does Benneteau count?
No I missed that, are you implying he does this regularly?
Would like to see it for myself and put it in context, before I judge him.
?????????????????????????????????Andy Murray. That hurricane and grass flukes do not count.
I would have liked to see Tsonga and Ferrer win one. Tsonga because he has the talent and once came close (2008 AO) and Ferrer because of his sheer hard work and tenacity.
