Yes, but the chair umpire clearly made the wrong call. Blake deserved the match, but the chair umpire made the wrong decision. If Gonzalez had owned up to his racket touching the ball, the chair umpire would have realized that Gonzalez' racket indeed touched the ball, and given Blake the point and the match. Withholding that information was indeed cheating by Gonzalez, which is by definition a violation of the rules.
Perhaps you are not familiar with the rules of tennis. In an unofficiated match it would have been responsibility of Gonzalez to make the call. Olympic games is the highest level of sports competition, and therefore Olympic tennis is officiated. It was responsibility of the chair umpire to make the call in this case. Every player has the right to concede a point for any reason. PLayers rarely do. Gonzalez did not concede the point in question (and neither did Blake). Blake chose to make a scene about it (Gonzalez did not). Gonzalez (the defending singles gold champion) was the better player AND the better sportsman in the match. He deserved to win the match and he did win the match. End of story.
