one of my favorite players ever.Jerzy Janowicz.
There's only one Eric CantonaArnaud Boetsch
Because he is French.
Are we Tallinn year end top ten, or any top ten Ranking?
player that has never been in the top 10
The King. There's only one Eric Cantona
Good player.Anders Jarryd. He was Edberg's doubles partner, ranked #1 in doubles and as high as #5 in singles (I know, we're supposed to choose someone out of the top 10). He lost to Boris in the 1985 Wimbledon semis.
Jerzy Janowicz.
Nah, he once made it briefly to #9.Federer
Jarryd's haircut (very much the style in mid-80s Sweden) is a nearly disqualifying defect. Unfortunate..Anders Jarryd. The last player to beat Nadal on clay, on 8 April 2005 in Valencia, before Nadal won 81 matches in a row on clay.My vote goes to Igor Andreev
Yeah, I remember Escude: a talented, streaky Frenchy with a bit of an attitude, IIRC. Hey, that sounds like most all of 'em..Nicolas Escude, if anyone remembers him.
More recoently, Moutet is fun to watch. He will never be top 10 I'm probably safe in saying.
On WTA its Taylor Townsend...love her game.
Escude twice beat Hewitt on grass in 5-setters in 2001, in the fourth round of Wimbledon and in the Davis Cup final.Nicolas Escude, if anyone remembers him.
Nice. The dude could play.Escude twice beat Hewitt on grass in 5-setters in 2001, in the fourth round of Wimbledon and in the Davis Cup final.

This is a good one. His style was sort of like a right-handed lower-swingweight version of Nadal. The last player to beat Nadal on clay, on 8 April 2005 in Valencia, before Nadal won 81 matches in a row on clay.
My vote goes to Igor Andreev(what a player! Some of the best strokes I have seen), Karatsev and Dolgopolov
No votes yet for Malisse?
Rostagno was a whisker away from beating Becker at the 1989 US Open, a tournament that Becker went on to win. Rostagno lost a 5-set epic to Connors at 1988 Wimbledon, but beat Connors at 1991 Wimbledon. Rostagno also beat McEnroe in the first round of 1990 Wimbledon in straight sets, when McEnroe was the #4 seed and world number 10.Derrick Rostagno.
I recall him challenging any other pro tennis player to a 200m sprint race. Love it!
Good pick!Derrick Rostagno.
