Note: forget about the Slam record, for example that as a Fed fan you’ve supported Djoker in past matches over Nadal only to protect Fed’s record etc. etc. None of that.

I’m asking who do you like better purely as a tennis player. Who would you support of the two if your favorite didn’t exist. So based off of a combination of their tennis style, personality, manners and other things, decide who do you prefer.

I like both of Djokodal and have supported them both against each other and the field in a non-tactical way before. But I prefer Nadal. In fact, he's one of my favourite players on the tour.

As a Fed fan, I like Rafa much more. But I have learned to respect the accomplishments of Djokovic and believe, ultimately, he's the better player than Nadal. But as a slam purist, he will have to get to 17 or 18 slams to have the greater career, IMO. If they tie at 17, Djoker has the greater career than Nadal.

I can't imagine hating any tennis player, regardless of whether they beat your guy. It's just sports, not war.

In order of stroke purity: Djokovic-Federer-Nadal. I'm way more likely to attempt to copy something Djoker's doing, because I think he has the cleanest strokes in tennis (I don't hit a lot of overheads ;-)).

In order of aesthetics: Federer-Djokovic-Nadal. I just enjoy watching Fed play more than the others. Given that I watch tennis for the pretty shots, that probably means I am a bit more of a Federer fan than either of the other two, with Djoker solidly in second.

I do still like Nadal, but I just think he is a freak of nature, so I watch him like I watch tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, earthquakes. Interesting to watch, and when he's on I fear for his opponents... who all just get demoralized, like Federer at AO 2009, which I think is my favorite Nadal match of all time.

I always preferred Federer by a huge margin back in the day but I really don't care for either of them anymore. In fact amazingly there's a part of me that actually prefers Nadal slightly more these days, especially in light of his recent struggles. Roger seems like a nice enough guy and no doubt he's been a great ambassador for the sport but his rabid fans have really turned me against him these last few years, and even that would be putting it mildly.

As a Fed fan also, I have actually grown to slightly... give me a second, it's not easy to say... but have grown... to like Nadal a bit.

It's not even that I ever disliked Nadal to begin with, I just was attracted to Fed's game and at the time, his main rival was beginning with nadal.

Now Djokovic I have always disliked off and on court, however, as you have said, I have "learned" to respect his game and accomplishments. But I will never like him.

I have warmed up to Nadal a lot in the last few years but I give my vote to Federer. Seeing the condescending and obnoxious behavior of some of his fans has had its impact recently, but I can't forget all those years when I was cheering for him massively myself whenever he played Rafa, and generally whenever Novak went out of the tournament earlier. I am still a massive fan of the tennis that he produced in the past.
