It looks like a toss up at the moment. They all three have tons of heart and Roddick was praising them for the way they all compete (in his post match interview last night)
I like Harrison's game, but I watched some of Sock last night, and he could develop well also. Nice touch, and he has a pretty good backhand, but he ran around it wayyyy too much, and got himself in trouble sometimes because of that.
senior in college is too old? 21-22 ? he's still developing he's physical strength ..,I think he has a bit to go but I like his game better now than the others..
I liked the way Sock competed. He seems to have a big game, now it's about learning how to compete and structure points at the pro level. He'll have to work on his movement but I disgree with the comment he looks slow.
I was critical of Sock in another thread about playing high school tennis, and after seeing him play I stand by that. There is no way with the game he has he should have been messing around beating kids 0 & 0 in Kansas.
Bump! Has mental strength, just needs to develop the arsenal a bit more, especially the serve. I can see top 20 by '13. From there, it's all about the "court between your ears", where he is already light-years ahead of Harrison.
I still think it's Harrison. He is a bit overly dramatic at times, though, which he needs to restrain, I think, in order to make his hotblooded competitive personality work for him--there is such a thing as too much or unproductive levels of this behavior, and I think he's dangerously close to that line.
Sock played well against Roddick, but his game was very similar. Ran around his backhand too much. Big serve, big forehand. I think that if he had played Nadal or Djokovic, it would have been ugly.
