This is a very close one as they both have one slam. Novak performed better at the Masters, WTF, Olympics and H2H against Fedal. They have a similar win rate but Roddick was more consistent throughout the decade (i.e. 4 slam runner-ups, 11 more titles & was ranked in the top 10 for 8 straight years in the 2000s) and Roddick does have a YEN1 although that came before Fedal fully hit their stride.

Their ages throughout this decade were: A-Rod, 18-27; Novak, 13-22.

rodick because of no1. but nole turned pro in 2003 and did not play any ATP or slam event before 04. so you compare 10 rodick seasons vs 6 noles. if you take just those 6 seasons when both was on the tour (04-09) then nole and it is not even close.

if you want to compare a decade (10 years) why not rodick last 10 years ith noles first 10 years. they was mostly both on tou, 03-12, even if nole did not played any ATP or slam event in 03!
