I adored Slobodan Živojinović when I was a kid......who else? ......Ivaniseivc too....alldough he drived me crazy sometimes
I liked Lendl,Becker,Edberg in the 80' too..........than Sampras..Agasi...Rafter....I really liked Rafter's style of play.
Nowadays...Novak of course....I like Rafa too....not so much for his style of play.....but more for his determination and his shear passion....and mediterranean character
I would like to see Del Potro win some masters and a GS...

Ivan Lendl... for whatever reason I liked his game (big serve, big forehand) more than the SV players of the time. Interestingly in watching classic matches I really like Connors also, but his heyday was a little before I started watching tennis.

Pete Sampras was my favorite player when I started playing in the 90s. Plus, the kiddie racquet I used had him on the racquet cover, so I liked him even more.

Started paying attention in 1968, but there was very little to watch back then. The player I admired then was Laver.

Lost interest and didn't pay attention or play again until I was in grad school in early/mid 1980's. Watched some and was blown away by Sampras at the time.

Graduated, got a job, started a family and didn't play/watch again until 2001. Since then it's been Federer who has captured my interest.

Summary: Laver -> Sampras -> Federer.

Agassi. I had just started getting into tennis and the Volvo International was on TV, I believe it was 1988. Agassi was the up and comer that the tennis world was focusing on and ever since that day I was a fan.

and the group of players that I always looked for when tennis was on TV included: Guga/Moya/Safin/Enqvist/Pioline/Ivanisevic/Arazi (agassi/Sampras of course)

I started watching several years after I started playing (1973) but from '78-'88 was McEnroe. Last couple years were painful ... Mecir was also great to watch. In '89 I remember being very impressed with Sampras' strokes when i watched a match at the US Open. Otherwise I was a mild Goran fan and now enjoy watching Federer.

Nadal funny enough. The first match I ever saw was the French semi in 2004 with Fed. Got up at 5 in the morning to watch him win lol.
