Don’t worry they’ll learn when Sinner goes on a tear in 2025
Aren’t you worried about him getting a serious lower limb injury? Tall skinny legs on a tall frame doesn’t seem to be the recipe for longevity or double-digit slams.

Let’s see if he builds up his body to win a 2-week best-of-5 Slam yet. He didn’t even win the ATP Finals after looking like the best player all week.

The heavily-hyped, heavily-muscled Spaniard didn't get get nearly as close as Sinner did..

odd.

Final listing from me with all things considered

1. Djokovic (very unsure of this tbh - im expecting a decline from him somewhere during the clay season)
2. Sinner
3. Alcaraz
4. Medvedev
5. Zverev
6. Rublev
7. Tsitsipas
8. Rune
9. Khachanov
10. Fils

Interesting thing and this thread ... Almost no mention of Ruud ... And none of Nadal as far as I can see! Of course, who knows what shape he will be in. But if he feels he's in shape to play ... Stranger things have happened than him getting back to top 10.

Pete was pretty tall, and awful skinny in his youth.

Ruud is so...2023. He has a lot of talent(s), but I'm still a bit irked at the whole Rune situation. Although Rune did him dirty in the end, if I recall.

So far there are 7 players picked by everyone, and only 20 players picked in total.
Shelton has the most picks outside of the top 7, followed by Hurkacz.
Few have confidence in Ruud or Auger-Aliassime.
We have 11 people making predictions so far.

once ruud crashes out of round 3 or 4 of french open he is out of the top 20.
tsitspas is likely to have another decent year, he has weaknesses but usually takes out the trash. I say stefanos will stay above rublev and rune. he is more consistent than many give him credit for.

djokovic will likely have another 2 slam season. wimbledon + AO probably. wouldnt count him out of any slam really... he really could win all 4.

1. Djokovic - unfortunately.
2. Alcaraz - hard to tell if he'll fall to the middle of the pack or win three majors next year.
3. Zverev - barring off-court problems.
4. Sinner - entering his prime.
5. Rune - he's at times hard to take, but at least he's not afraid of anyone.
6. Medvedev - improving on all surfaces and in his prime.
7. Hurkacz - his serve should win him enough matches, and he should be better on grass next year.
8. Paul - he's in his prime and might sneak in.
9. Shelton - we'll see if he lives up to his promise.
10. Rublev - head case, but consistent enough to make the Top 10.
X. de Minaur - competes every match, in his prime, and is a tough out (but not enough to pick him).

I've just seen that the Brisbane tournament has already started, so I've disqualified this last minute change and will have to stick with de Minaur and not Rublev.

Closed to entries - good luck everyone!

* There is a near identical post created after this one in the General Pro Player Discussion. I'm hoping the OP will post those picks here so we can have one thread.

Hurkacz won't be number 7 in the baseline era. He will get exposed due to over reliance on serve.
