Who Will Be Top 10 At The End Of 2025

He might be doing as well as he can. In all the major categories, what does he do better than the other players in the Top 20?
His serve and FH stats always used to rank amongst the elite and he moves well for a big guy with good reach. On slow courts where he has time to hit his BH which is not a compact shot, he used to hold his own with most top players. He also used to have decent shot tolerance to win long rallies.

But now it seems he makes errors more easily, he is ranked outside the top 10 on the ATP serve leaderboard in the last year and he is unable to compensate for his weaker BH/return/slice with his serve/FH weapons. He also had the coaching breakup with his dad and his social media posts seemed to indicate he was trying to become more independent from his tennis coach/parents. So I think he hasn’t been in a good place mentally in the last year while he is trying to figure out life as an independent adult.

Agreed. Previously his skills were enough to be in the Top 10, but I think the depth now is much higher.

Djokovic will easy accumulate pts to be in top 10 by end of US Open itself where he will end the year. Now will he play 2026 ? I don't know. Needs slam win.
Djokovic is close to 3000 pts already. This amount is sufficient to end top 10 for 2025.

In fact if he beats gobolee in qf of Wimbledon, he would be third in race to turin.

I think everyone knows Djokovic level yet they either overrate or underrate him based on the agenda.

Shelton and Musetti came out of nowhere. Rest of the players are solid bet by end of 2024.

Fritz now has won 800 pts from Wimbledon. He will very likely be inside top 8 by end of the year. Before wimby, it was looking dodgy.

ATP Year End Rankings 2025

01. Alcaraz - 11000 points (will win 2 slams)
02. Sinner - 9000 points (will win 1 slam)
03. Zverev - 7500 points
04. Medvedev - 6500 points
05. Djokovic - 5000 points (will win 1 slam)
06. Ruud - 4100 points
07. Rune - 4000 points
08. Fritz - 3500 points
09. Rublev - 3400 points
10. Shelton - 3200 points

My prediction holds strong except Ruud and Rublev who are replaced by Musetti and Draper.

Djokovic has entered top 3 in race in 2025. Some 2400 odd points coming from 3 slam semifinals.

Of course that also means he would be in top 10 by end of the year even if he doesn't play another match now.

Three tied for first place with eight correct picks, and six just one back with seven correct picks.

It looks like the Top 5 players in the Race likely have enough points to finish in the Top 10 without playing another match this year.

It's unlikely Draper will be able to hold on, but the other nine players probably will.

Ruud has a tough draw in Paris, he will have to make the quarterfinals to make the year end top ten and he would likely need to defeat FAA to make the quarterfinals and I rate FAA as a better player than Ruud. Though Ruud could take a wild card to enter Metz or Athens to make the year-end top ten

I forgot, is Draper done for the year with injury?

It will be interesting. Ruud is more consistent, but FAA has been playing well lately.

My picks and how they fared so far as of 10/27/2025 (was in no particular order after Alcz and Sinner):

Alcaraz (1)
Sinner (2)

Medvedev (13)
Ruud (9)
Rune (12 so close)
Paul (20)
Musetti (8)
De Minuar (6)
Zverev (3)

Hurkz (71, oooffff. Knee surg took him down)

For me, Fritz and FAA are surprises making moves.

You will keep Musetti, but lose Ruud, so it looks like 5/10. Not bad for this year with lots of surprises.

4/10 for me. I got the first four on my list, and then 0/6 after that - tough year. I picked some young players to break through, and most faltered. I didn't think Djokovic would play enough to be Top 10. Medvedev showed promise at the end of the year, but it wasn't enough. Ruud was consistent, but didn't quite get there. Fils got injured.

In my picks Zverev and Meddy are really what messed me up. They both went the exact opposite of how I thought things would play out.

Then for players NOT on my mingo card, Bublik and FAA are both a big surprise. Not so much for FAA with the team changes and refound focus, but Bublik..I just never saw him as serious or dedicated competitor, but in line with an early Monfils with being a bit of an entertainer, and certainly not having near the athleticism. Huge surprise there.

Agreed. He may very well be in the Top 10 this year and an alternate at the WTF. He has also has very few points to defend for the first few months of 2026.
