No one except Federer, Djokovic, Nadal or Murray has won Wimbledon since 2002, which was a whopping 17 years ago? Who will break this streak?

Too hard to imagine this happening. Looked like Cilic could have a chance if somehow all top players would lose early but now he looks done. As for the next generation I don't see any potential great grass players, really.

I'm going with Tsitsipas or FAA just because I don't see anyone else entirely capable and I haven't given up hope on them like I have the others.

Difficult to say as almost all the youngsters suck on Grass with the possible exception of Felix Auger Aliassime..
The main reason is that the young players lack proper returning games and the 2nd most important shot in tennis, ReturnOfServe...
This makes them helpless in earlier round clashes at wimby against veteran big servers and journeymen who have big serve..

If not for Big3, probably a servebot will grab a wimby title, but not these young midgets unless

1) They develop a return game

2) Felix keeps on improving and becomes consistent in 2020/2021

Murray has a stranglehold over Wimbledone ?? :-D
Although there is no need for such a question but if you want to ask one ask how come Nadal has a stranglehold over Wimbledon.
That one seems more logical.
But regardless the big 4 do have a stranglehold given how they won the last 17 editions.

I read the names you mentioned and just had to laugh about every single one. And yes, I understand very well that someone has to win Wimbledon in each upcoming year. But still, I couldn’t stop laughing.

STEFANOS TSITSIPAS. WHO NAMED YOU.... SOME HALFWIT WITH A STUTTER?
Now that you have mentioned it Stefanos seems like the ideal candidate to be drawn a parallel with Lancel.
I bet Stefanos will soon find religion.
Also I hope he gets blown by a bomb.
Wat.

The poll maker should be shame.

Thiem & Berrettini but no Milos?

1. Raonic
2. Tsitsipas
3. Felix

Blame the poll maker's subconscious mind.
It doesn't want Milos to win.

Delpo is dangerous when he is healthy. He played a gang-busters match against Nadal in the 2018 QF. I also watched Delpo push Djoker to 5 sets in the 2013 Wimbledon semi.

Even an injured Delpo is better than this younger crowd now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Delpo on crutches beat Zverev.

I am going with Delpo.

He had match points against Federer the year before so yeah I thought it would have been a closer match at least.
M.P. against a crippled fed and still couldn't convert it. Cilic is such a mental midget....
I wonder what delpo could've done with cilic's luck (not having so much injuries)

He is very mentally weak for sure, except for 2014 USO when he played without nerves. I actually think Cilic is better on grass than Del Potro but Del Potro is a bit stronger mentally, although he can crumble in tight moments as well.

Nothing special. We saw 100% healthy Del Potro in USO 2018, reached the final with a very easy draw. Choked on all break points and lost to Djokovic in straight sets. He is also a one slam wonder.

He, Cilic and Anderson were the closest in recent years. Cilic had the best shot to be honest in 2016 and 2017 but then that meltdown in the 2017 final happened....

He should have taken out Federer in the QF of 2016, he couldn't get a second serve return in when the match was there for the taking. Probably would have favoured Raonic in the SF But he would have had a good shot at making the final.

To me that was a choke and much more so that this year's final. That match was there for the taking, I think he was up 2 sets to love, and still couldn't win it. It would have been close with Raonic but a match he could have won.

Nadal is still a factor at Wimbledon. Murray is 90% retired. How can he have a stranglehold now?

The OP didn't mean it in the way that you are seeing it. He meant it in a way that no one on the tour has been able to break through the big 4 at Wimbledon in the last 17 editions which suggests that they have a strangle hold there.
Obviously Nadal is more of a factor there.
What's I meant to say in my post was that Nadal won it the last time in 2010 and Murray won it 2 times since.
But I admit that stranglehold isn't the right word for it technically.

Delpo has better history against big4 and I'll put him on par with Murray in terms of mental strength, he's just way too unlucky in terms of injury
