Its still there, but speed kills. RaoSlug has got a bunch of players that are in good enough form to expose him who are faster. We all know at their best or near best that the Big4, Wawa, Dimi, and Delpo are too much. Pushdick wouldn't have stood a chance either.

Roddick would have beaten Wawrinka, Dimitrov and Del Potro but lost to Federer. It's just the way Roddick was.

On this year's fast RLA Delpo is the one (barring Fed of course) who would have given him maximum problems. Dimi has the game but maybe mentality is too defensive. Cannot see Wawrinka beating Roddick on fast HC. Once it's slow enough that he can line up his massive groundies then yes he's beating Roddick.
