I believe the main draw will not be revealed until later on in the week, as was the case with Indian Wells.

Donald Young is playing qualies (he was granted a wildcard). It isn't an easy road, however — a tough first-round battle with seventh seed Alejandro Falla awaits him. He will not be cut any slack in the second round, either, should he overcome Falla — Nathan Healey and Chris Guccione are to clash with the winner of the Colombian and the overhyped American.

Guillermo Canas is the top seed, whose first round opponent is American wildcard Brendan Evans. The winner of that match awaits the victor of the first-round battle between Italian Federico Luzzi and eighteenth seed Thiago Alves from Brazil.

You can take a look at the full qualifying draw here.

Forget the third round, there's some interesting second round possibilities as well. For instance, if Del Potro beats Bjorkman, he'd play Baghdatis in the second round.

Yes, that's the one: Last year's supernova vs. Next year's (except I think Del Potro has the staying power: top ten in '10)

does anyone know there will be streaming Live tv in miami ? for those of us desperate people without the tennischannel?

two words. TVU Player.
I love it.

Anyway, the Ragin Bull'll win it all. So far, once I've joined this forum, I haven't been wrong so... VAMOS RAFA!!!

I think the only blip for Nadal will be Youzhny - if only he can get past him - he has a good chance - but surely Nadal must know his game by now he's played him enough times?

cañas through the main draw beating Thiago Alves from Brazil 61 60 (or it was 60 61?). willy continues on the winning path.

My money is on Fed.....IW was a fluke....not taking anything from Rafa though...if Fed doesn't pull it off, then Rafa surely will.
I see Carlos has a bye then plays Lubijic...yikes...that's not too good :(

My predicted draw. ;)

My gut said Federer, possibly Nadal the way he's been playing recently, but my tendency to pull for the underdog says Andy Roddick. He's either really on or really off. Seems he's always really off when it comes to playing the top two players above him. I believe he is capable of beating both federer and nadal on any given day if he keeps is crap together and doesnt go into that horrible "roddick panic mode" where all his tactics that got him where he is go right out the window and he just starts floating the ball right back to his opponent.

I hope that Youzhny does a repeat and demolishes the buttpicking topspinape! If not, it would be Djokovic's chance to redeem himself. If that doesn't work, maybe Rod**** can grow some gonads and for once get the job done.

does anyone know when Masters series tv will start streaming the miami open? and is there anyway we can watch earlier rounds if you don't have tennis channell?

i feel bad for Querrey. hes a good American up-and-comer, and if he wins his first match he's got to face federer. poor guy

Sluiter slamming Kuerten ATM.. good for me, can make my predictions 10-4. ;)

Del Potro broke back (which is a good thing, I tipped him too :P)... Guccione (who I tipped) hasn't broken Serra yet. :\

Why are there no matches in Miami ATM? Play was supposed to start two hours ago (on outside courts; one hour ago for main courts).
