Both are tied 1 a piece. Sinner winning the first grand slam of the year, Alcaraz has won the first masters series. Who will win more big titles?

Big titles include
Slams
Masters 1000
ATP finals

I really would like to know why people pick Carlos? He was bossed around by a superior Sinner in the first set of the iw semi. If Sinner continued that level he would’ve won in straights

This will certainly trigger a certain fanbase

I can’t see Sinner winning less than 4 big titles this year. Carlos will do better on clay. But Sinner with big serving will outperform Alcaraz on grass. USO swing, Sinner will dominate. China swing, indoor swing and ATP finals. - All Sinner. It will be a fight
@dking68 what company are you keeping.

The guy says once that sinner doesn't care about masters, just slams, right after a big loss to Alcaraz.

Then he says Raz will be competing for 250s while sinner will win 1000s..

Not a good company brother.

Sinner is really behind in masters. He needs to win this Miami title. But if Sinner can win a second slam that would be great. I doubt Alcaraz will play any 250s

How much jealous or stupid someone has to be.

1 guy has 2 slams, 5 masters and is almost 2 years younger. The guy is just 20.

Sinner has 1 slam and 1 masters.

Now alcaraz can stay behind sinner but there are some members here trying to be so dishonest and trolling all the time, but don't even get warnings from admin?

I always say Sinner is behind in Masters. Zverev had 3 at Sinners age + ATP finals. He’s really behind. And Sinner has a lot more talent than Zverev

This is gonna feel like a cop-out, but I think they'll both finish with the same amount of Big Titles this year. The clay court season is gonna be very interesting, as neither has won MC or Rome yet....and Carlitos is going for the 3-peat in Madrid. I do think during the fall, that Sinner will win either Shanghai or Bercy (or both). I also expect a couple of unpredictable winners to snatch a couple M1000s (like Hurcakz has done the last few years)

@nolefam_2024 i feel Sinner needs the Miami title more than anyone. He’s a journeyman in masters

Does it make sense that he has the same amount of masters as he has in slams? He’s clearly underperforming for his talent

I never said that Sinner doesn't care about ms 1000 , i said I don't care about the masters and want him to focus on slams only. Stop making lies, son!! What I want and what he will and what he wants are two entirely different things .

Even if alcaraz wins only 5 titles in 2024, all at 250/500 levels, I would like sinner to top it with 5 slams or more this year.

Caring only about slams is for GOATs. Sinner is far far from it right now.

who knows, the momentums shifts can be quite decisive and unexpected.
I think both have a very good shot at a slam during the rest of the year - Carlos' best bet probably the French, Sinner best bet probably US Open.
Based on their performances so far, i think Alcaraz will win more masters, but certainly Sinner will win at least one. So my prediction, and I'm sure it will be wrong.....
Sinner 1 slam + 2 masters = 3
Carlos 1 slam + 3 masters = 4

I may be a bit conservative in my estimates here, i do have feeling that these two might really start to dominate the tour, and as far as I'm concerned, that would be great.

It's great not to be discussing members of the big 3 in contention for the bit titles, but realistically Djokovic has to be a serious contender for the remaining slams too.

Sinner really and truly needs to win masters. I don’t know why he failed in Shanghai and Paris. I don’t to see him fail in Miami. I can’t see why he shouldn’t win the Miami title. He made 2 finals. A third time he shouldn’t be denied.

I’m backing Sinner like how he won the AO
It’s a good bet. Sinner is a near unbackable favourite for two of the next three majors, and it’s a joke how much better he is than the rest of the field indoors.

As a fan of Alcaraz and Sinner, it’s my hope that Alcaraz can get as much success as possible before the US Open series begins.

US Open and the fall season we might see Sinner really run rampant in a similar way to what he did last year.

The best final that Wimbledon and the US Open can offer will be the Alcaraz vs Sinner matchup.

Sinner has momentum and the biggest room to improve as well. For those reasons it seems that the odds are slightly more tilted in his favor.

While Alcaraz seems to have the more complete game, but mentally needs a lot of work, and I don’t think that’s as easy to grow and remedy.

SInner is very nice guy and I really like him because his attitude is so good. He can be the perfect example how to behave on and off the court, but when I read sinnertards posts, I wish him to finish career just to stop reading posts.

Same thing is for Carlos in reddit sometimes.

Fanboys are simply very annoying.

@Hitman who do you think win more slams in his career?Sinner or Alcaraz?

Very good question. These two will be the standard bearers for a very long time to come, and they are only just hitting their stride. I think it will be close. The one thing Sinner does have over Alcaraz, is that I feel he will manage his body/health better than Alcaraz, who seems to be more prone to injuries.

I need to see more from Sinner on clay, because Alcaraz might start racking up RG in the coming years, on grass I think Sinner will have the edge in the coming years.

One tournament changes the narrative on here so fast......
Yeah Alcaraz was supposed to break Novak's slam record after Wimblie last year, then he underperformed and out of the sudden Sinner was praised as the future GOAT, now it is back to Raz. Completely clueless takes all along.

Carlos if he copycats Sinner’s improvements. If he increases shot tolerance and reduces the use of the spray and pray highlight reel shotmaking. Because he is insanely talented he can make these balls but sometimes it looks like he goes nuclear to soon. It may sound a slightly churlish criticism as he’s remarkable and has more variety than any other player at the moment IMO, I guess all I’m saying is he can make less UE’s. Both will dominate and as @Hitman said, a lot will depend on physical fitness as they progress.

I’d have Alcaraz as more favoured at IW / Miami, all clay and queens. Sinner at Canada, Cincy, Shanghai, Paris, YEC. W/USO 50/50.

6 events for alcaraz
5 events for Sinner
2 that are 50/50

Alcaraz will win -
IW, Miami, Madrid, W

Sinner will win -
Cincinatti, USO, Paris, YEC
