Who cares? The Alcaraz fanboys (some are TTW members) who first predicted he would defeat Djokovic in that AO match, then made a truckload of excuses when he lost. That's not accepting the possibility of loss and underestimating Djokovic (much like they first predicted a victory for Alcaraz over Djokovic at the Olympics--until that went up in smoke, and then rolled in the excuses). That is what happens when some are drowning in a pool of ridiculous praise for everything Alcaraz, and when he loses, instead of accepting that others have and will have his number in matches, they make excuses or attempt to erase history.
Now let's be fair here...that happens with fans of EVERY PLAYER (myself included with Agassi, FAA, Venus Williams, and some of my favorites). This forum has been LITTERED with Novak fans making excuse after excuse for when he loses in a Slam match (ESPECIALLY when it's to another member of the Big 4) over the years. This forum damn near melted down after the 2020 French Final and the 2022 French Open SFs. Heck, I remember when the 2013 USO F happened, and Novak fans on here were melting down lol. Geriatric Novak has inexplicably had Carlos' number, up until this past weekend. We'll see if Carlos can continue his good play against Oldovic

Sinner fans backed the wrong horse :alien:

Sinner if he fulfills his potential. But you cant be outserved by a player half your size. If Sinner starts serving like he is 6'3", he will be a monster on HC and grass.

I see now that is is a grave matter, and I need answers from everyone about everything!

Fanboy exaggerated predictions existing with other players will never justify the wildly ridiculous statements made about Alcaraz, including patently laughable claims by some of his Talk Tennis Warehouse fans that he was a GOAT in the making. Nevermind the lack of evidence for that. They just want to sell themselves and all others on that empty claim, yet in the same breath, make flimsy excuses when he loses, unwilling to admit Djokovic and others know how to defeat him, as seen at the Olympics, 2025 AO & Wimbledon. I imagine if Alcaraz is booted from the 2026 AO, this board will be flooded with excuses that he was fatigued / injured/ played too much (even if the title winner played as many matches) / fighting wildfires in another galaxy / whatever, instead of admitting the player who defeated him had Alcaraz's number.

...and for any of Alcaraz's Talk Tennis Warehouse fanboys who still spew that "GOAT-to-be" crap, if he cannot win the Grand Slam, he'll never be one of the GOAT players.

The moment Sinner starts serving more than 60% first serve in it’s over for Raz lol, he make matches this close with less than 50% first serve in , imagine him serving first serve over 60%
I would not say the four-setter Sinner and Alcaraz played was particularly competitive, Sinner never really troubled Alcaraz aside from that set he won

And imagine if Alcaraz got more than 53% and 50% in during the 2nd and 3rd Sets...
1st Set = Sinner 60, Alcaraz 63
2nd Set = Sinner 47, Alcaraz 53
3rd Set = Sinner 56, Alcaraz 50
4th Set = Sinner 36, Alcaraz 72
