I miss Nadal.
I wonder if Santoro will even get a vote.
Safin by a country mile though if I were honest,I wish he would have retired sooner. These years of dragging his feet along didn't do his career any justice. Seems like the russian is more famous for being angry on court(smashing rackets anyone?) than disposing sampras in USO and having one of the greatest runs ever to win AO and that doesn't seem fair to me.
Santoro! If you want to see a Safin-like slacker, watch Nalbandian. There's a good chance we will never see Santoro's style of play ever again.
That's like asking which of your children you love more!!!
I refuse to answer this poll.
on the court, santoro.
off the court, safin.
Tough question. I picked Santoro, because there will never be another like him.
Santoro. One of a kind, entertaining to watch, loved the sport. Even though I hated him more than life itself during the Blake match a few yrs back at the Open ...but still gotta respect anyone who's been around as long as he has and made it work.
There is a nice tribute of him at the atptour site about all his 20 matches with 20 different world no 1:s he has played !
Santoro. I had grown weary of the Safin hype when he was a shadow of the player he had been yet was still godified by many fans.
I can honestly say I have never watched a Santoro match, he never even made much of a bleep on my radar screen. Nice to see he had a loyal following of fans though.
Wow you're missing out man. Go to youtube for like half an hour, watch some stuff you'll be impressed.
I also miss Gimpy Jones 011. :cry::cry::cry::cry:
Santoro for sure. There's plenty of people who play like Safin, but you can't say the same for Santoro.
Santoro, no contest, much like their head 2 head
im with you...
mod's... delete this thread. it's causing system overload in Gorecki's head
Santoro was a pleasure to watch. There will never be another like him. Safin? Can't say the same.
