Regarding Kyrgios, it pains me to watch him waste so much of his potential due to a lack of discipline and commitment to his tennis career. The guy has a tremendous amount of talent (and I mean it, really TREMENDOUS), yet he never came close to maximizing it. The only times he showed somewhat promising flashes of brilliance were 2014 Wimbledon against Nadal, Miami 2017 against Federer, Acapulco 2019 against Nadal, and Wimbledon 2022 against Djokovic, but other than that, I cannot think of much more...
Regarding Federer, of course, it would be ridiculous to say that a man who has won 20 Grand Slam titles has "not reached his full potential", but I feel that he certainly could have done more with his career. If he had been more diligent during the early stages of his career and if he had not been so stubborn with his style of play in crucial matches, I am sure he would have won much more than just 20 GS titles
Regarding Sinner, he seems to be the one who is the best among the three at maximising his potential. I mean, if you look at his rate of improvement between 2018 and now, it's ridiculously good. Unfortunately, we have not watched more of Sinner's prime period to determine the full scope of his potential, but I do definitely believe that he still has room for improvement, despite his already outstanding level.
But what do you guys think?
My personal pick would be Nick Kyrgios, as much as it pains me to say this as a Sinner fan.
