Who do you think has the best and most natural tennis serve motion when we are speaking about lefties?
what do you mean by that? the best serve to learn for older guys or that he has a good serve for a 50year old?IMO, best serve for a guy in his 50's:

Jeff Salzenstein
If an abbreviated rhythm with a platform stance suites you, I strongly suggest Jeff's serve. It is easily cleaner, simpler and bigger than Rafa's serve. Many players find the abbreviated rhythm/motion the easiest to adopt. OTOH there are some players out there who can't figure out the abbreviated rhythm and go for a more staggered rhythm.

I would argue that if he can serve like that in his 50's (he's almost 60 now!), and has been serving like that for his entire life, that it's a good serve for all ages. Very smooth, good kinetic chain, accurate, powerful, etc...
IMO, best serve for a guy in his 50's:
JMac's serve motion is much too idiosyncratic. Mac developed his unusual serve style because of chronic back issues. Like a lot of other ppl, I tried Mac's novelty serving style back in the day (30+ yrs ago). It was interesting to try but too difficult to get working at a high level. I know a lot of ppl tried it but don't know anyone who stuck with it.
It didn't work me when I was young and I seriously doubt that I could pull it off now that I'm in my 60s (Connors age, a bit older than JMac).
The average AARP-appropriate tennis player is not going to have McEnroe's spine flexibility. Look at how much he rotates when serving out wide on the Ad court? There's no way a typical player is going to be able to do that unless he's already been doing it for years.
Well then, we probably shouldn't be suggesting pro players serves for rec-level older players
