Fed fan here and I don't hate Djokovic nor am I unhappy about his recent success. I am glad that he finally stepped out of Fedal's giant shadow and started to dominate the tour.
 
Part of it may be that Djokovic finally overcoming Federer was a bit unexpected. Conversely Djokovic dominating Nadal at his best was really not that unexpected as it was only a matter of time.
 
I am a huge Fed fan but I like Djoker as well no hate from me.

In fact he is keeping Rafa on the ropes so he is gaining points in my book.

It is always good to see some healthy competition!
 
Hey, I am a Fed fan, but I like Djokovic. However, his quitting in matches is kinda bad. But hey, Nadals antics are just as bad, if not worse.

I don't have any posters in my minimalist room. I like to keep the walls blank, clean and tidy... so my mind is clear and not easily agitated like yours :mrgreen: No wonder the Balkans (and their supporters) is full of agitated people... they love their posters on the walls don't they...

Last time in Roland Garros Nole was beaten and outplayed and made look so clueless thus kept looking at his coach as if asking how to play tennis.... :-)

I don't say I hate Djokovic. Criticizing somebody doesn't mean you hate that person.

Really? Weren't you the same person who claimed that Fed fans hated it when the #1 spot belongs to an Eastern European?

I don't know who hates Djokovic among the Fed fans. Of recent, Nadal fans have looked a lot more worked up about Djokovic retiring for example, than any Federer fan. I'm not particularly a fan of Djokovic considering his defensive game and antics but other than that, I'm okay with him.

Djokovic is not fair HC player. He is the GOAT. Federer is less skilled player than him on HC.

Nadal was unfortunate about some of his injuries in AO. Let's not sugarcoat it. To bring up nadal's failures is to bring bitterness to the whole Nole Rafa discussion.

Why do we have to do this? Nadal beat Federer in epic five setter in 2009. That was one of my all time favorite matches. Let's celebrate their wins instead.

Nadal made him half human. Yes the 2008 Wimbledon, 2009 AO and 2012 AO were damning for Federer. But fans said it was matchup issue. On Federer's worst surface clay, they needed no excuse.

Coming to Djokovic, he didn't just go after fed in slams, he did go everywhere.

IW Miami double - done multiple times
AO Wimby USO win - did so in 2011 and 2015
Most important wins - ATP finals 2012 done
Wimbledon finals - multiple finals, done 2014/2015
USOpen - done 2010, 11
Weeks at number 1 - done 2021 USOpen
Australian open - done 5 so by 2015
Then we have minor records like
Beating Federer in IW Miami Rogers cup Basel in his hometown, beating Federer at his home.
AO triple between 2011-13 not achieved by Federer ever.

So there are more things that Nole did similar to Federer while we can say Rafa did start the domination of fed but it's more surface related.

Both made Federer human but in different ways. Rafa proved fed is beatable even on grass. Nole proved he can be better than Federer for longer time.
