Why are Big 3 Fans so Toxic?

Fans of the Big 3 are so toxic and rude to each other. It is getting out of hand. Personally, I’m a Rafa fan but I highly respect Fed and Novak and I would be happy for either of them to win RG this year. To me, people are just so sensitive and rude now, just be nice to each other it’s not that difficult. Does anyone agree with me? Please share your thoughts and say which Big 3 member you support
 
Its the inevitable slide into the salt cellar after too many years spent at a keyboard rather than on a tennis court. We need a rehabilitation thread.

100% agree with tolerance and respect for your rivals. A little banter is to be expected though.
 
I actually think it's a LOT better than what it used to be. It's pretty much all banter nowadays
The collective failure of LostGen, NextGen and NewNextGen has encouraged fans of each of the Big 3 to appreciate the other 2 in their "old age".

It is annoying to see so many people bash Murray though.
 
I’ve been on this forum less than a week and been called deluded, trash and also that I talk nonsense because I support Federer and because I make grandiose predictions . As far as I’m concerned ( and this applies to real life as well ) that genius knows no bounds and if people can’t see the “genius” that you or I possess then that’s their loss. Ps..vote Federer
 
Actually nowadays big 3 fans have mellowed a lot compared to the past, this isn't 2015 or 2010 anymore, I think big 3 fans are just happy to see their players playing.

Another thing I've noticed is a low key respect for Andy Murray also, I remember people outright detested him, there was someone on here who wanted to fight him, seriously, not so much now.

The toxic ones are the loudest. The majority of their fans are busy with their own life and enjoying the Big 3 tennis when it happens.

OP . . . when unhealthy relationships near their inevitable end . . . there is always toxicity. Years of resentment, of jealousy, of delusion, of misplaced adoration will do that to you.

Soon enough, the dimly lit cyber rooms and hallways of TTW won't be able to contain the bitterness of loves that have moved on. And those left behind won't be here anymore. They'll be in the "Former Pro Player" section. Or sitting alone at the end of weathered bars in weathered towns . . . being served shots of cheap, room temperature liquor . . . as bleary-eyed bartenders listen to incomprehensible stories of "rigged draws" and "greatest of all time" and "Slam counts" and "head to heads" . . .

Have hope. There is always the dawn.
