and stan almost stop novak in 13 AO too

I don't really think Stan has any matchup advantage against Djokovic - certainly nothing that Federer doesn't have. Fed has beaten Djokovic on several more important occasions than Wawrinka has, just not in the 2015-16 period. Fed has the real matchup advantage against Djokovic (although Djoker has built up the mental advantage in recent years)

He just redlines his game more against Djokovic than he does against the others. If anything, the real matchup advantage is against Murray, whom he's always troubled even before he broke the top 10.

Sir there are multiple matchup factors which work in the favour of Stanislas Wawrinka when he is zoning and dialed in.

He's streakier than ever. I don't see him reaching Djokovic in slams anymore.

Anyway, classic answer - Stan disrupts Novak's rhythm and doesn't allow him to get comfortable dictating play. This makes his low-margin game not work so well, he ends up playing on Stan's terms. And when Stan is playing great, that's enough to take him out.
