And worst thing about CR7 is that he constantly reminds us how poor he was as a boy. Arrogance at best. They simply don't have that kind of personality. Like for example Cristiano Ronaldo or I don't know Neymar who enjoy those kind of luxury things.
Rafa likes really fast cars. Ferrari.Tennis has such a short off season that players dont have time to enjoy these types of purchases. They are always away from home, so the cars would just sit.
Rafa really like big boats.
Then you don’t know south Europe well. The Ferrari Rafa driving is the closest you can get to a racing car, it goes fast. Lamborghinis too. Maybe looks way over the top. But the speed and the motor, nothing like it if you are into that.1) Porsche is german
2) How is Mercedes not a luxury brand? They’ve got some of the best cars on the market.
3) Djokovic is sponsors by Peugeot.. he’s not a big fan of them for no reason
4) I personally don’t know many other celebrities driving Lambos and Ferrari’s casually so it seems like a weird question to me. Yeah of course you’ve got people like Tomic, Kanye West and probably lots of rappers driving those cars but I think the Big 3 are a little too mature for toys like that.
Djokovic grew up in a war torn country. Probably understands how fleeting these things are.
Huh??Djokovic grew up in a war torn country. Probably understands how fleeting these things are.
Which Ferrari? Then you don’t know south Europe well. The Ferrari Rafa driving is the closest you can get to a racing car, it goes fast. Lamborghinis too. Maybe looks way over the top. But the speed and the motor, nothing like it if you are into that.
Nonsense, when you work hard for your own money, you can tell anyone that cares to listen about your humble beginings,And worst thing about CR7 is that he constantly reminds us how poor he was as a boy. Arrogance at best.
Would someone kindly post a photo of Bernie driving his sports car. Thanks.
They are married with children. Those types of cars are for bald guys who take too many blue pills
Nonsense, when you work hard for your own money, you can tell anyone that cares to listen about your humble beginings,
They do not drive luxury sports cars but they also do not drive cheap cars. Federer's cars are probably over a 100 grands each. There is nothing wrong with that, he has a lot of money and he also gives to his charity and he spends his money quite responsibly.Cars like Ferrari,Porscher,Lambo,Maserati etc..
I NEVER saw neither of them to drive this kind of luxury cars.
They seems to enjoy mostly germans car and Djokovic ofc is big fan of Peugeot.
Yeps...Djokovic bikes around to get to places when he's in Monaco. He doesn't really need a car.
Federer probably drives around in his Mercedes that he got from MB
But Novak likes V8 and fast cars too. You can find pictures of it online.Djokovic bikes around to get to places when he's in Monaco. He doesn't really need a car.
Federer probably drives around in his Mercedes that he got from MB
Why is it so strange for you? I think if someone has to explain anything at all, then he should explain why he does (or like) something, but not the opposite (why he doesn’t).
I’m not interested in cars as well, apart from reaching a destination. And even less I’m interested in driving fast in road traffic. Just too dangerous for no reason.
Then you don’t know south Europe well. The Ferrari Rafa driving is the closest you can get to a racing car, it goes fast. Lamborghinis too. Maybe looks way over the top. But the speed and the motor, nothing like it if you are into that.
Rafa doesn’t live in a big city, Federer also doesn’t live in a big city. Not everyone live in a big city.where can you exploit the motor possibilities and the speed of these cars?
Europe has tough speed limits.
Even more, in many countries highways and cities are full of radars. The one exception I know is Italy, which for some weird reason didn't invest in radars in the past, but rumours say that they are also getting there.
Parking.
In many European cities parking a big car is a problem. You are actually better off by driving a small car.
Parking in big Spanish cities is a whole art in itself. I have seen many times how in Barcelona, it's perfectly OK to hit the bumper of both cars, the one behind and the one in front while parking and then leave like nothing happened.
Rafa doesn’t live in a big city, Federer also doesn’t live in a big city. Not everyone live in a big city.
I lived in USA, and there the speed limits were lower than here so I’m not sure what you are talking about.
Rafa's Ferrari 458 Italia (pictured in July 2013):Which Ferrari?
There is no country where one can drive that Ferrari to the max legally besides the autobahn in Germany. People still by cars that can go faster than the speed limits. In fact most cars go faster than the speed limits allow.1. Regarding Rafa.
I haven't been to Mallorca, but heard enough about the islands being quite car "unfriendly".
One of the reasons is that it is virtually impossible to arrange as many cars as tourists would like to rent, so all the regulations around cars get stricter and stricter and stricter.
2. Regarding Roger.
Have you been in Switzerland?
Even if the biggest city, Zurich, would be a small city by some standards, or medium by most standards with approx. 400k inhabitants, it is quite car unfriendly. Not as unfriendly as Luzern, but the city authorities make it open and public that you'd better move around by bike or public transport.
Parking in Zurich is a disaster. Meaning that finding a spot is difficult.
Traffic jams are notorious.
Basel, with its approx. 100k inhabitants is also probably trailing between small -> medium city classification, depending how you look at it, but it's not better in terms of car friendliness when compared to Zurich.
In fact, its proximity to Germany, and the structure of highways (autobahns) make the situation there even worse.
Whenever I have to drive past Basel, I divert, because you can safely bet that driving through Basel is a lost of time in traffic jams.
3. Speed limits in Switzerland are OK, but the punishment is tough.
For "normal" people, small speeding is OK. But small is around +10 km/h.
An acquaintance wife recently was filmed by a radar in Zurich, with a +20 km/h. Expected fine is 800 francs (800 USD) + 2 years of probation period. If within this period there will be a traffic offence, the driving license might be suspended.
Breaking the speed limit at +40 km/h might result in:
- car being wasted by police, and it doesn't matter if you own the car or not. It is your business how you will settle this with the car owner.
- going to prison
As for reach people, there are rumors that they pay some % of their income as fine.
Why rumor? because I didn't google it myself, but you can double check.
Please don't tell me that the fines for speeding in US are as tough as in Switzerland.
There are ways to avoid the speed camera, new cars have an alarm which tells when the camera is there. And you can get this other thing that can track if the police is there with their equipment to catch drivers that drivers too fast.
The alarm for the photo boxes are legal. It’s installed already in the car, on the screen/map in the car they are showing too. Got it myself.not sure about the device from new cars, but I'm pretty sure that the other device is forbidden by law in many countries.
yet, we are derailing from the main question
why football players show off their expensive cars, and tend to crash them regularly, but tennis stars not so much.
I also think in Europe football players more popular than tennis players so tennis players stalked less by paparazzi. Nadal, Nole, Federer got expensive show of cars. That Novak can just bike around in Monaco proves tennis players aren’t that huge of celebrity anymore.Probably age is the factor, you look at young ATP stars they are more likely to post more exotic cars e.t.c
Then you don’t know south Europe well. The Ferrari Rafa driving is the closest you can get to a racing car, it goes fast. Lamborghinis too. Maybe looks way over the top. But the speed and the motor, nothing like it if you are into that.
Please tell me all about, since you are the expert.LOL, you don't know **** about cars.
Do you even know the model Nadal has been seen driving?
Please tell me all about, since you are the expert.
