nadal deserves murray.. he has to play someone good to prove his worth not a joke like fiasco who will crash against a qualifier or get bageled by nadal... and no he sucks on all surfaces because he is a HOPELESS HEADCASE.

I won't say that. When he's on, he's Fernandotastic! Unfortunately, 90 % of the time, he's NOT on...

How does he 'always' draw Verdasco? Verdasco wasn't even a serious threat before the 2009 AO, and since then, only at RG 09, 10 did he even have a chance to play him (instead both lost in 4R and Almagro did, respectively).

2009 Wimby : Rafa didn't play
2009 USO : Fed's half
2010 AO: Fed's half
2010 Wimby : Murray's quarter (lost in 1R)

Why does Djokovic always end up in Fed's half of the draw ?

I bet he's having nightmares about it.

The reason that Murray is usually in Nadal's draw and Djokovic is in Fed's draw is that the final most people want to see is one where Fed is facing either Nadal or Murray. There is enough history between them that it makes for a compelling final that will get good ratings. Unfortunately, Djokovic just isn't that big of a draw anymore especially after the fiasco in '08 when he made those comments that turned every body off so now the tour organizers just put him in Fed's side of the draw assuming that he will likely get beaten down by Fed, which has now happened for 3 years in a row. And to be fair, he usually puts up a good fight, even when he loses in straight sets (they are close sets) so it is an entertaining match and makes for a good semifinal. But in the final, there is one player everyone wants to see. Roger Federer.

Too much partying, it's as easy as that.

When he showed that mental strength at the AO 2009 and beat Murray, and nearly beat Nadal, I thought maybe he's improved and maybe he's starting to play to his potential. And then the AO ended, and so did his run.

Yeah, a typical 'fluke run', imho. Too bad.
But who knows, maybe he'll pick it up again. Not counting on it, he seems to be enjoying his life to the max, if you get my meaning! ;)

It says on Verdasco's wiki page that he was diagnosed with ADHD when he was a child. With this piece of information taken into consideration, I'm pretty impressed as to how far Verdasco has taken his career in a game in which the mental component plays a big part such as tennis.

Another interesting thing is that he refused to take medication as the drug used to treat ADHD could be counted as doping. If he were to be allowed to take the drug, who knows what he might have been able to accomplished ?

How often has Murray been in Federer's half of a slam draw? Does it even out over time or is Murray truly always in Nadal's half?

I'd love to draw Verdasco, he's such a cool guy it's an honour to play such a beautiful specimen.

Uhm, does my memory fail me completely right now, or didn't Fed play Djoko in the final in 2008? That does mean that he was on the other side of the draw that year, eh? ;)

It's obvious that tournament organizers want Federer in the finals. There's a reason why he's handed joke draws that even I could probably get though. Nothing sells tickets like Roger "The Crybaby" Federer playing pretty but error prone tennis. No matter, Rafa's getting to the finals. Leave inspiring tennis to Nadal.
