Why does Nole keep entering the lions den, again and again?

I want bagels lol. There will be a mass Ultronian exodus if Nadal wins :D Clean em out Rafa ;)

I don't foresee any bagels this year. Novak is serving too well (so far) for that to happen. This could go 4 sets or more unfortunately, hopefully Rafa's stamina is up for it if need be.

It would be a true GOAT moment to bagel Novak again though when his game is clicking perfectly and he has no reason to be tired. One can dream.

Not dead yet.

On a daily basis, we are reminded that many believe these guys don't like to compete. It's beyond bizarre.
Agree. All this talk about any of the Big 3 avoiding each other or tanking key matches (not talking about some 250) makes little sense. The reason they have won so much is because of how they fight.

At least he's still good enough to enter the lion's den at RG.

Nadal keeps falling by the wayside at the QF stage, courtesy of the youngsters, at AO! Why does Nadal keep challenging the youngsters, such as Thiem and Tsisipas, down under?

I trained probably, two weeks or three weeks for this fight against Nadal [Belgrade 2]. I was gonna rip his heart out, I'm the best ever. I'm the most brutal and vicious and most ruthless champion there's ever been, there's no one who can stop me. Nadal is a conqueror? No, I'm Alexander—he's no Alexander. I'm the best ever. There's never been anybody as ruthless. there's no one like me—I'm from their cloth. There's no one that can match me. My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.

Today was that cage fight.

I’ll need to rewatch that 3rd and 4th sets again to appreciate what happened.

Every return from Novak seemed deep, every serve on the line. The level of rally shots was so high, they’d be winners against virtually anyone else.

To me Rafa played his usual self, except Novak wasn’t getting bullied. The change in FH topspin from the second set onwards itself was a brilliant adjustment on the fly.

4th set was one of the most brutal finishing touches I've ever seen delivered on a tennis court. Scariest part is you could see it in Djokovic's face before he even broke back before 0-2 that it was coming.
