Why is UO the Grand Slam of rarity?

Why is UO toughest to win for Big 3 and other "big players"?

Looking at the results since 2000, US Open has helped a lot of "inconsistent" players win Grand Slam/s.

Facts:
Safin has 1/2 of his slams in UO
Hewitt has 1/2 of his slams in UO
Roddick has his only Grand Slam in UO
It's the third toughest slam for Federer
del Potro has his only Grand Slam in UO , and his only finals.
It's the third toughest slam for Djokovic
Murray lost his 4 first slam finals against Federer/Djokovic, but as soon as he met one of them in UO final he won.
It's the only non-clay tournament where Nadal is much better than Djokovic
Cilic has his only Grand Slam in UO
Anderson came as a 31-year old who had reached 1 QF as his best in Grand Slams and seeded 28, and then reached his first Grand Slam final in UO.
It's the only slam where Nadal and Federer has not managed to go deep enough to meet each other.

Some facts, as the Safin, Hewitt, Murray etc. are not 1/1.000.000 rare but some of the facts tells us that UO is kind of the Grand Slam of suprises, what causes this?

del Potro has his only Grand Slam in UO , and his only finals.
Come on, this wasn't true even in 2019 when you posted it

How is this not the French Open?

-Federer only won it once;
-Djokovic has more titles at each of the other three Majors;
-Sampras never even made a final;
-Connors never even made a final;
-McEnroe never won it;
-Becker never even made a final;
-Edberg never won it;
-It was won once and was the only Major for Gimeno, Panatta, Noah, Chang, Gomez, Muster, Moya, Costa, Ferrero, and Gaudio;
-Bruguera and Kuerten won their only Majors there

The US Open is the Major where there is more competition and in which there has not been someone superior to everyone, unlike the other three Grand Slam events.

It's not the same! Clay's a totally different game! The USO's like any other HC tourn. in the world, but still winds up being the hardest major to win; even by the Big 3! :unsure:
