Why isn't Rafa using the APD French Open Edition?

I recently checked out some photos of Rafa hitting in Roland Garros and he's using the standard yellow/black APD. Assuming the sales on the French Open Edition would spike if Rafa was using it, what is Babolats reasoning behind this?

Nadal doesn't like change, as you can see from his service motion and court-side bottle positioning. Babolat is merely understanding.

Well, I'm glad he doesnt use it, I think I like the regular one better.
Though on the TW website it says Rafa uses it. Maybe he going to switch when RG officially starts to confuse his opponents;)

My guess is that the French may take a liking to it.

they tried to convince him, but he denied, as you know the top players does not like change anything before a top tournament, a very top manager of babolat told me.

We don't actually know if Babolat is "understanding." I suspect his contract gives him some latitude in what he uses, so long as it is a Babolat product, or perhaps a current Babolat PJ, which of course his racquet has.
