That 90% doesn't look that impressive when you include that or the fact that he dodged them both by withdrawing before he played them in the last 52 weeks. He has 4 wins against the top-10 in that time when Djokovic has 9 and Federer has 5. / thread.
Avoiding injury is one of the prerequisites for attaining GOAThood. Federer and Djokovic have been superior in that regard.
Was Nadal injured the last 2 years at AO, when he lost to Djokovic and Thiem?

Really in the other thread, Nadfans were mentioning fatigue as factor in Nadal's losing at '20 AO, due his playing both Davis Cup and ATP Cup. Wasn't the DC before the 1.5- month winter break, so everyone should recover for AO? Wasn't every top player also involved in ATP Cup, including Djokovic and Thiem?
I'll tell you what real fatigue excuse is like. When you have to play the final on Sunday, making it 4 days in row; and his opponent gets Thursday and Saturday off, to do whatever he likes!

Fedr and Djoker were late starters because they don't have as much natural talent as Rafa who was beat Moya at the age of 16.

All of 'em are great on hard, clay and grass. Just the extents are different. Nadal has 78% winrate in more than 600 matches on hard. 83.8% on grand slams, 30 grand slams on hard, 10 finals.
5 Grand Slam titles, 10 Masters titles, 1 Olympic gold medal. He won 16 big titles on hard. Like you said, this is no joke.
Probably can not match Federer's or Djokovic's historic levels on hard. But Nadal is one hell of a hard court player.
