Why no more 18x20 Pro Staff?

Would a 18x20 Pro Staff make sense to you?

I just wonder why a 18x20 version of the legenday Wilson line is (no longer?) available.
As a long-term devoted (but separated since few years now) to this racquet, I would love a 18x20 to satisfy all my need for control and placement.
I have migrated to Prestige MP and Blade, both 18x20, but the call of the PS is still in the air.

Has anybody any idea about it?

If it were 18x20 AND glossy paint, I would have bought it. Went Ultra Tour to get both attributes instead.

The PS 95 18x20 is an all-time great, no idea why no 97

18x20 ps 95. is hard to use and I think it is more for advanced player. I had two and had to sell them to get more powerful racquet.
If you had to get it get the plus version.

Resurrecting an old thread, but I came across an unsual beast from a far-east market, it had the pj of RF97 in the laver cup colors, but weighted 305 unstrung, and was a 18x20. The grommets, grip and buttcap all look like a blade 18x20 as well instead of the RF97, but the shape of the racket was RF97! Waiting for it to be strung in my favourite strings (VS Touch/YPTP hybrid)

The dense pattern prostaff is always meant for super strong tour players. I have seen so many people sell off their 18x 20 prostaffs as they are so hard to play.

That's a crock if I've ever heard one.

There a plenty of players out there that are using 18x20 frames (including Pro Staffs).

What happens is a lot of players make the switch from a tweener or more powerful frame into a heavier PS type racquet where they have to supply the power and they aren't ready for that.

Yah, I've always gravitated towards 18x20, my main racket is a cx 2.0 tour, I tried various rackets that my son uses (with the cavaet that these are all 26 junior rackets of all flavours) but always end up going back to the trusty 18x20 95 sq inch pattern in a midedleweight and extremely HL that the cx tour provides. Plus the supershiny pj in garish colours puts off my opponents; when the sun is at the right spot I can use it as a lazer beam.

Ah I never knew about the K Six One 95, I took my 'special' to a shop to compare, and it's almost certain that it's 6.1 Team edition which was too out of spec (i.e. 305g as opposed to 289) and somehow got a RF97 Laver cup pj complete will all the 'wrong' markings and made it to a retail channel. Now I can be as fake as the pros playing with a racket pj other than what the actual racket is! Once I manage to get it strung, I will see if my local tennis pals have a 6.1 so I can compare side by side but I am 99% sure this is what it is.

I've played with the for a while now and coming from CX 2.0 tour, initially it just did not seem to do it for me. But now that I have used it for a while absolutely love it! Especially on the return of serve of a very fast serve, when you block the ball, you can feel the racket/string flexing and the ball effortlessly returns straight back to the corners, it's an amazing feeling without you having to swing the racket. I still can't serve well with it, but all the other shots are slowly locking in, and it's fast becoming my favourite racket. The only problem is I can't stock up on it as it was a one off....

Well, there's the K Six One 95 (18x20) that's a direct descendent of the Pro Staff Classic 6.1. It's definitely a Pro Staff though not in name.

Actually, I had re-started tennis seriously with a Six.One 95 (both 16x19 and 18x20) and I think they're just distant cousin of Pro Staff racquets.
I eventually bought a PS90 just in order to own it as a totem, played casually with it on one training session, and put the Six.Ones in the corner immediately.

Could be a pro stock of some sort

I've stuck with the ps85 since its reissue in 2014 as just a rec player for exercise. Then I tried the k6.1 95 18x20, reissue last year. but I couldn't get over the thicker beam so stuck with the ps85. My k6.1 95 is still in the "corner" in very new condition, and I haven't yet decided to give it away to a relative, or sell it yet. About three months ago, I went for, and got a kps88 in preserved new condition, 16x19, currently at 374g, 7pts hl. I like it so much so far, and moved on with it since.
