Hey, I want to buy my first clay court shoes, now I’m using Nike Court Ballistec 4.3 hard courts, these are shoes for wide feet and I love them, but they’re not made anymore... Which ones would be good for wide feet? I’m thinking Cage 2? What about new Lunar Ballistec 1.5 for clay? Thanks a lot for recommendations guys!

Could one of you equipment wizards please lend me some insight. I am pretty much exclusively a player, I have never had any affinity for equipment or noticing which equipment is good or which is bad. Some of my best tournaments have come just playing with random peoples rackets, I really don’t have much ability for differentiating between equipment even if there is a difference.
But, my feet cannot take it anymore. This is one thing that is pretty obvious. I play all the time on clay courts, maybe 15 hours per week, and I have always struggled to find wide clay shoes. So in the past I just settled for clay normal shoes but as a result I have been sacrificing the health of my feet. I can’t really keep it going I am really struggling to find clay court shoes for people with wide feet. I have looked but to no avail. If any of you could suggest or point me in the right direction, I would be really, really appreciative.

KSwiss Hypercourt supreme are pretty wide in my book. I used Barricades and switched to the Supremes, but found them too wide for me.
Diadora also had good options. I tried one of the Blueshield models that is now discontinued and that was also too wide for me. Their current Torneo is on the wider side.

I was looking at both the Torneo’s and Hypercourts, but when I checked I didn’t think any of the wide models were clay. I could be wrong though, and definitely could have missed something. Are you sure Kswiss/Diadora have a wide for the clay?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the grippiest and widest clay court shoes on the market right now? I have been using the Gel Res X and they still feel a bit narrow and slippery (maybe my fault from an accidental day of hard court usage). Not sure if there is anything wider at the moment however

By grippy I guess you mean you want less sliding on the clay? I have crazy wide toe box and wear ankle braces so need wide shoes. The best I’ve found so far are Gel Res in 2E (Xs are bit wider than 9s). ASICS make the Gel Res 2Es in Omni-Clay (will be listed as OC). They don’t have the clay herringbone so not as easy to slide in as normal clay shoes. They’re designed for carpet and clay, I’ve worn them on grass courts as well and had good grip.

I use K-Swiss Hypercourt Express. Nice and light, very large space upfront. I'm at the second pair and I'm okay with them.
I tried Hypercourt Supreme, they were pretty large upfont, but tighter than Express. And I'm not a fan of the sock style.
Also a shoe with rather large space for toes was Lotto Raptor, but they broke very quick for me.

Tried around 20 different models in the last week or two, looking for a wide clay court shoe in Europe (no 2E/4E sizes, and I prob have a 2E or 3E foot), to replace my Solution Speed FF3's, which were super narrow, but broke in really well (literally too much after 9 months)
I felt that the widest were the Babolat Sfx 4 and Evo, however they were both too tall in the arch to toebox area.
Other models I would classify as wide are Lotto Mirage 300 (very wide, but narrow arch), NB 996v6 (short, so sized up) and Diadora Torneo 3. I settled on the 996 in the end

K-Swiss Court Express 1 HB/Clay. They are the widest shoe I have, 2nd widest is Babolat SFX Evo. Here I have linked to the women's listing because it's still showing on the official site. They're still widely available from resellers in Europe. The 2nd edition are narrower.
