Wide fit shoes

I'm new to the sport [as a player] couple of hours a week.

So far I have tried the cheaper Nike Air Vapour Ace [10.5 UK] which were okay in the length but too narrow to be comfortable.

Did a bit of research and the Nike Zoom Cage 2 seemed to be recommended for those with wider feet, ordered a pair [10.5 UK] and same problem, length fine, but again too tight/narrow, so sent them back.

Can anyone suggest any other shoes to try that have a genuinely wide fit, not bothered about the brand.

Thanks.

How wide? 4E wide? New Balance still sells a few 4Es ... but toe box is now more narrow then the past. Adidas sells a 4E now.

If you have access to Costco, check out @ricardo 's thread. $17 Kirkland. :p

New Balance sells 2e and 4e, Adidas Barricade Classic bounce have 4e size, and Prince T22 is comfortably wide.

My Prince T22 size 12 is wider than my Nike Cage 2 size 12.

I'm a 11.5./Thought the Prince T22 too narrow. New Balance 1006 2E fit better.Probably could have gone 12.0 2E or 11.5 4E

If your finding the Cage 2 too narrow, you definitely need to get into the 2E and 4E width shoes. The Cage 2 is probably the widest Medium width tennis shoe I have played. Check out the 996v3 in 2E. Nice shoe if it is wide enough for you.
