2017 was brutally efficient, but I actually kind of enjoyed 2018 RG more, despite being worse. That was the year he really started using the drop shot consistently on clay. For me it’s RG 2017

Chess is art?
I vote no.
The exact opposite. His tennis is very predictable and unimaginative. He is very dull and generally I only watch against players who can put his game under the microscope.
The appeal of Federer is his technical excellence but he is not a great thinker or problem solver on the tennis court. He does what he does and it usually works. but when it doesn't, for much of his career he has been absolutely clueless. How many times did Nadal need to pummel his backhand for the message to sink in that he needed to change something on that side?
Frankly, Federer is a bit tennis-thick.
True.i wonder what his opinion next week will be
I find Nadal the most interesting to watch, but I love watching Federer. His game is not dull at all to me.
Federer is not thick, but he is not a "warrior" like Nadal and Djokovic, who has consistency on their side. Federer wanted to play like his idol Edberg and a naturally offensive game/ nature is hard to change.
It will always be a huge advantage to be left-handed in tennis. That's why Rafa was trained to play left-handed. I doubt a right-handed Rafa would have won 22 slams.
It isn't a huge advantage to be left handed in tennis. Statistically left handers are under represented in tennis.
You don't understand! It's unfair that a left-handed player can hit cross forehands to a right-handed player's backhand whereas a right-handed player...can hit a forehand cross to a left-handed player's backhand!!!
Um...wait a minute...
It should be "The older i get.. the more of a chameleon i turn in to".“The older I get, the more I enjoy watching him play,” the seven-time Grand Slam champion and Eurosport analyst told L’Equipe.
“We see that he trusts his variations more than when he was 22 or 23 years old. I find his tennis more fun than Roger's or Novak's."

Nadal more 'fun' to watch than Djokovic or Federer, says Wilander
Mats Wilander says he finds Rafael Nadal more “fun” to watch than Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer – and is “blown away” by the way he hits the ball.www.eurosport.com
I admit I chuckled a bit because Wilander changes his mind all the time. But what do you think? Diskus.

In terms of enjoyment, 2018 Wimby Nadal was the peak for me. Wish he played his whole career like that.
Certainly not. Never.Do you ever watch classics in which Nadal loses? ie, Wimbledon 2007, AO 2012, AO 2017, Wimbledon 2018, etc?
He can’t help it.I'm a Nadal fan, just to make that clear. So you can spare your childish tone here, @intrepidish
Creativity among high level chess players is beautiful to watch, if you understand the game to a decent level.Chess is art?
