Will Adidas Honor these Barricade V's for warranty?

I've had them for just over 5 months now, and am wondering if Adidas will accept them back now for 6 month warranty replacement.

Not if the policy is anything like Nike's. You have to wear through the mid-sole too with Nike.

you have to keep in mind this person is probably not a homeschooled junior that plays 5 hours a day. He probably just played adult leagues and so forth. So cool it kid.

Anyway I know they don't look very worn out but they will exchange them. I have sent in some like yours before and have yet ever been denied for a warranty excahnge. I have been wearing these shoes for 5 or 6 years since theyve had the warranty and I have gone through so many I don't even want to know. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I would be surprised if they warranty those. There is a little wearing away of the herringbone pattern but no real damage to the sole.

Unfortunately, adidas will not honor it. I would suggest getting some sand paper and a steam iron and start working some of the areas down.

Definitely NOT!
Under the rubber layer, there are two other layers before you get to the thick, spongey/foam-like layer (usually white color) that is the actual cushion.

You have to go through the rubber and the other two layers to be considered for the replacement.

I weigh 200 lbs, play 8-10 hours per week, 90% HC. I get a free replacement after 4-5 months.

The shoes you shown are perfectly playable IMO.

I know from personal expierence that these are worn down enough. I'm sponsored by adidas though. That might have something to do with it.

I'm in my 30's and have a 9-5+ job, play 3-4x a week, 2hrs a time, on hard courts, and I wear down my sneakers (a hole straight through), and it takes me 2.5mos to do that.

I have found that sneaker wear (on hard courts) will be determined by how much your run, and how many little prep steps you are will able to take... I don't know many 3.5's or even low 4.0's that go through sneaks within 6mos, though it seems like all higher level players easily go through sneakers with 5mos or less (even if only playing 8-10hrs a week).

that said, those sneaks look barely used! i'm surprised adidas will reimburse you for sneakers that barely used!

From your threads in the past you play a ton. Adults don't wear shoes out anything like kids even if you didnt play a ton. So just cool it. I'm not tryin to star anything here.
I don't think he's starting anything, i think he's just stating a fact that folks (like me) who wear out sneaks in <6mos are not necessarily kids that play 20hrs a week.

actually to quantify, i can calculate that i probably wear out my sneaks after 100-110 hrs of play (2.5mos for me)... but that's some hard core running, long points, lots of change of directions, etc...

so i'd guess that high level youngsters (on hard court) playing 4-5hrs a day/5-6x a week, go through a pair of sneaks once a month... i guess another good reason to train on har tru or other similar non-abrasive surface!

okay, so there are extremely varying opinions.

some say no way in hell, while others say that they've never been denied?

I think everyone except one person thinks those will not be replaced for warranty. The shoes just have normal wear so there is nothing wrong with the shoe that qualifies it for the warranty. You could always try, but i would rather try to make these shoes last as long as possible since you have less than 1 month left.

So basically no.

I am not sure how you got this idea. One, UNREALISTIC guy said so, but no one else...
They will definitely NOT replace them, you will waste $8.30 fee, plus the shipping fees...

Adidas did do some unpredictable things though - they replaced heavily worn (hole in the sole) B5s for me that I purchased off ****, and the only receipt I had was the Paypal printout with the auction number on it... Previously I called them to verify and they said absolutely no since that is not an authorized store. But I sent it anyway...

Wow. just wow. You sir are either really light on your feet, or weigh around 75 pounds.

Now that you mention it, this guy is not on his toes -- look at the wear on the heels. The heels are the most worn part of the shoe, which is the exact opposite of what you want to see.

haha for their comfort. You my friend must be crazy.

About Adidas replacing the shoes witht eh paypal receipt. It basically proves that adidas barely even pays any attention and just ship them back without paying much attention. I have never been denied by them. EVERRRRR. And I used to be homeschooled any would go through them in 3 weeks. Also I know they take anything because I have outgrown near brand new ones and sent them in asking for a bigger size with the outsole warranty claim and they give them to me.
