Agree. Alcaraz is the youngest ever world number one and youngest ever year ending number one, and he did it while winning a slam, and a couple of masters on multiple surfaces....from a historical standpoint, he has indeed made history by setting new records.

Nadal was the better player at the same age, but when it comes to significant milestones, it is Alcaraz.

Basically he has done what many players dream of, winning a slam, becoming world number one and ending a season ranked the best player in the world, and he did it at the youngest age so far.

Doing better than young Nadal. Youngest CYGS winner.
Alcaraz hasn't won 11 tournaments in a calendar year like 2005 Nadal, who was 18-19 years old at the time. Nadal's 2005 was cut short as well, as he couldn't play Paris Indoor or the YEC.

Same tier, Raz has 1 more slam and a bunch fewer masters/no OG.

However, he's getting close to the age when Rafa had his first slump (mid 2009 to early 2010), so now Alcaraz has almost a full year to pull ahead.

At the end ultimate achievement matter, not youngest oldest cxap .
Eg. Djokovic got career slam at 29 yrs , older than everyone who got it except Agassi. Nadal and Fed did quicker. But for Nadal to do dbl career slam it took another 11.5 yrs i.e at age 35.5
Djokovic also did dbl career slam at 34 yrs and triple slam at 36 yrs.

Djokovic is having most impressive record now.

Of course if alcaraz breaks 24 slams and matches triple career slam then he can overshadow Djokovic

Great prediction (y)

Alcaraz is more complete, talented, and overall superior

More complete and versatile for sure. But can't say superior or more talented at this point. Nadal faced a very different opposition (superior) with Federer and Djokovic later on. So it's difficult to conclude anything comparing just numbers. We have to wait and see how his career unfolds.
