Will Alcaraz win more USO and more FO than Djokovic ?

Will Alcaraz have more FO and USO than Djokovic ?

I am not sure if Alcaraz can get more than Fed at any major other than FO.

I am not sure if Alcaraz can get more titles than Nadal at any of the 4 majors.

It appears Nadal is the most versatile on this basis and Djokovic the least.

Since Joker had RAFA blocking him at RG and…a laundry list of players blocking him at the 2-1 Open. Combined with the current wasteland of a field I’d go with:

At this point he probably will. I expect those two to be his best slams and I expect him to eventually ascend past Djokovic as a clay courter. Carlos could continue Spanish domination of RG for a long time.

Highy likely. In fact Djokovic's 2 and 3 record at the sport's most relevant and prestigious slams will be made a mockery of.
I mean, they are quite low numbers when you think about it.

Yep he probably will which is why competition and context does matter, not just raw numbers… eh Djokovic fans?
Actually, this and future Alcaraz would stop Nadal from winning 14 RG titles if he played in that era. At least 4 times.

25 year old Alcaraz will get beaten by 43 year old Nadal in the FO final for the 4th year in a row and promptly retire out of embarrassment. Djokovic’s 2 FOs are safe.

And yes, if injury free, Carlitos could win 3 more US and French opens untill the end of his career.

LOL.. I see Alcaraz winning at least 5 FO. He will face Rune, FAA. Sinner, Ruud and Rublev for next 10 years.

I mean its likely that if does indeed achieve this it will be on merit.
I mean his biggest rivals at RG are going to be Tsitsipas Ruud Sinner and Rune. Instead of Djokovic’s biggest rival, this guy named Rafael Nadal.

I’m pretty sure even Ferrer could win multiple RGs with those guys as “competition”, to say nothing of Federer, to say nothing of Djokovic.

Probably but does it matter? Djokovic would be clay, hardcourt (I mean he already is but US open GOAT too) , grass court GOAT if Nadal didn’t exist. Carlos has no such thing to deal with. Actually he has no one to deal with LOL. His biggest obstacle this year will probably be 36 year old Djokovic who can’t even play the US open

Nadal will be lucky to make it injury free though clay season.
His body is breaking down, it seems his time is near.
Which is a shame as I would love to see him & Djokovic keep pushing each other.

Well I mean we'll see but also Carlos could be good enough on dirt for it to not matter all that much. I think Carlos has the potential to peak higher than Djokovic and Fed on dirt. Doesn't mean it will happen but it's certainly possible. Will the difference in their resumes on clay likely be overstated? Yes ofc there will never be another Nadal. He's stopped them what 15 times now?

Also just because clay field doesn't look amazing right now (though I'd argue it's the strongest surface rn) doesn't mean it will be that way for his whole career. If Carlos wins the FO through Nadal and Djokovic it will be hard to argue with that and I'd say given health for all 3 he's my pick as of now and I've been saying that since last year.

Dude, Tiny Carl became Zedrot’s 1st top 10 win at a schlem when he was previously 0-2500. He wouldn’t be beating prime/peak RAFA at RG. Now would/could he beat Ancientdal? Sure pretty much everyone has been lately.
This guy is still a teenager. Yet, he has succeeded to create an "easily betting everyone untill at least SF" aura at 19 years of age, the same one Fed, Rafa and Nole possess. Dude is already a man to beat at every tournament, even though he is actually just a kid.

Sure, he will have ups and downs and will lose some, but if he stays healthy, this guy will dominate tennis in the next decade.

Let him do it at least once before you say outlandish things like he’d beat RAFA 4x at RG. No one has done more than 2x, and the only loss he had in his prime was to a Sod playing out of his mind in wet conditions.

I think he’s came at the perfect time though. With Nadal/Djokovic on their last legs. Alcaraz should soon be beating these guys consistently. It may not be this year though as the old dogs will still fight and are tennis gods as we know but it could change very soon.

Novak x2, nuff said.
…I literally mentioned that in my post and neither of those wins were against prime RAFA.

Not only that you’re saying the Tiny one would double that number. What’s that prediction based on?

Explain then why the only member of the big three has 5+ titles at 3/4 majors? Only Fed has done that, which would indicate he was easily the most versatile.

Winning more USO titles than Djokovic isn’t hard. LOL.

Right, also easy to win 3-5 FO in 15 or so attempts.

Strange to see honors even with Djoker at 2 of the 4 majors .

Alcaraz will also do the double title at all masters, given he has got 1 each in the bag in the 2 toughest masters

How many and which grandslams did Djokovic win without facing Fed, Rafa or Murray? USO 2018, AO 2021, Wimbledon 2021-22, AO 2023. That's 5 titles earned the easier way. In the remaining winning grandslams, Nole had to beat one or two of his three biggest rivals.

I am convinced that Nole will win the US Open at least once more, he will not want to have less titles than Rafa at USO. Therefore, it will not be easy for Carlos to equaly Djoker. But at RG, Carlos has a great opportunity to surpass Novak, he will not have a robust obstacle in the form of Nadal, King of Clay.

Alcaraz has 1 USO and 0 RG, saying he will win BOTH 4 and 3 respectively there is a lot. There alone he would have 7 slams, that's not easy to achieve at all.

I think he will surpass Djokovic in one of those but not two. We'll see which one. Winning 3 more USOs with Zverev, Medvedev, Rune, Sinner, Tsitsipas, etc around won't be easy.

There is no context, if he wins he wins.
It is just like saying Lendl will have zero RG if his peak time collieded with Rafa or Borg at Clay.
But I don't see anybody rating down Lendl below Fed, do they. Or even Courier below Fed
Do you rate Lendl and Courier below Fed and Novak .
How many people rate Connors king of Us Open when he had the toughest competition there, just in recent thread, people were claiming Sampraa and Fed as best in Usopen, very few people like me named Connors.
Connors was Sandwich between clay courters in three years, Mac, Borg, Lendl and still ended up on 5 us open
you can't follow your own advice then don't ask other
Bad luck is part of tennis, you need to go and win unless you are injured.
And winning three times Us Open is now supposed to bad when all time record is 5 ,and legends like J Mac and Rafa have 4 while Agassi and Rafter ended up on two this is hilarious.

Let see 3 is still good on Us Open, the best advantage he has winnig one very early by avoiding MP.
So he need three more Us open

Novak leads Rafa at the AO and Wimbledon and hard courts, overall. The USO is not the only important hard-court tournament, as most tournaments are played on that surface.

I believe Connors beat Borg at two US Open's on clay and once on hard court.

I don't know what it is, but I would love it if Novak beats Carlitos. I want it more than him winning the FO.

Just to put things in their place.

Negative.
Alcaraz is unlucky that RG and USO is a pair of Zverev's favourite slams.

Big Sascha will be repeatedly denying Tiny Carlos in both Paris and New York.

Only if Alcaraz can DODGE Rune at Roland Garros and the US Open each year.

A bit early to assume that Alcaraz will win two titles at Roland Garros (so he might not surpass Federer there).

A bit early to assume that Alcaraz will not win three titles at the Australian Open (so he might surpass Nadal there).

The second assumption especially surprises me. If you assume that Alcaraz will become someone who wins many slams, why should three titles in Australia be beyond him?
