Will Arthur Fils be Alcaraz's biggest rival?

Idk. He’s just won a 500 while sinner and rune have grand slam and masters titles.

Sure fils has probably passed a struggling Rune at the moment. But right now he’s what top 25? He needs more results on hard courts and in bigger tournments. Winning 500 a week after grand slam is meh.
You always have to make the comparison with others for what they have achieved at the same age.
Alcaraz is in another galaxy, but what had Sinner and Rune achieved at Fils' current age?

The title is fils being alcaraz biggest rival, no?
Well if I look at the eye test : no , he’s not close. I give rune a better chance.
Pretty sure sinner played on the end of year finals too at 18-19 ?

At this point, he has all the ingredients to be one more flashy Frenchman, an heir to three of the four previous New Musketeers. If he can amount to more, it will be awesome. Time is on his side.

Rune had won four tournaments (including a Masters), plus he beat 4 top 10 players in one tournament (including Djokovic). He also had 3 GS quarters and 2 masters finals. Beat Zverev, Djokovic and Tsitisipas twice, but also beat Sinner, Alcaraz. Was no. 4 in the world.

I was impressed how cool he remained in his SF with Rune on his set point when a shot that set him up for an easy winner at the net was called late as 'out' only to be overruled by the umpire; most players would have gone ballistic.
