Watching the semi finals singles on line. Dude is a freshman...looks the the 2nd coming of Safin. Really big, strong and good. Might win this thing as a freshman.

Be interesting if he did win and was given a WC. A lot of $ to turn down if he remains an amateur.

Probably a dumb question, but you can't play as an am?

He can still play the US Open and return to college. If he does intend on returning to college for his sophomore season, he will have to turn down the majority of the ~$40k in guaranteed prize money that he will earn.

2 National Championship Finals appearances and he’s 1 and 1. Nice win at the ITA All-American for Blumberg.

Blumberg is to small to be a good pro. he also seem to be too slow to be top 50 guy as well. and he has no really big weapons.

Good news for Blumberg after this post. He's now a shoe in for pro tennis success after this prediction.

Now wait a minute, didn’t you post in the NCAA finals thread that you didn’t know who he was? (Odd since he was well know. In the current crowd op of Juniors now pros Tiafoe, Fritz, Paul, Kozlov etc...). And now you proclaim to know this about his game?

C’mon...BTW this post of yours couldn’t be more inaccurate...he’s got weapons and he’s not slow.

He's actually the perfect size for a pro tennis player, good mover, and very well rounded. Plenty of weapons.

Hopefully he plays the leaky Fawcett, so you'll see just how wrong you are.
