There's been a lot of talk recently of how many slams Djokovic could win in the next few years and when he will decline. So I pose the question: By the end of his career, do you think Djokovic fall short of, equal or overtake Nadal and Federer's slam count?
I predict he definitely won't equal or overtake Federer's record of 17. The most I see him getting by the end of his career is a further 6, which would put him 1 short of Federer (assuming Federer doesn't win another, which is an extremely good assumption at this point). However, I think it's difficult to predict if he will fall short of, equal or overtake Nadal's record of 14. I've gone with falling short by 1, but I think it's possible also that he could equal it (this is also assuming Nadal won't win another, which is a reasonable assumption, though he could make a comeback at the French this year). Overtaking Nadal might be a bit of a stretch though. If Djokovic was 1 year younger, I would say he'd almost certainly overtake Nadal.
