Will Djokovic win the Career Super Slam?

If he wins OSG this year, he will join Agassi in the elusive "Career Super Slam" club, edging ahead Nadal (who only has a Career Golden Slam, since he does not have WTF) and Federer (who only has a Career Grand Slam, since he does not have OSG).

This Olympics matters a lot more to Djokovic's legacy than people thought. I hope he gets it.

For those who wonder about the origin of the term "Career Super Slam", it was first introduced by Sport Illustrated and then cited by other media when Agassi achieved this feat.

Djokovic at Cincy is now basically a lock barring an injury or something unforeseen at Rio. The only guy in the field who owned Novak @ Cincy is fed, and he's out.

An OSG and Cincy title would put Novak in an incredible position. If he follows that up with a USO title (seems likely at this point), he'd be at 13 majors with basically every major achievement in the books.

Murray can beat him there. So can Querrey ;)

I think Djoko will drop the Real Slam this year; it can wait.

Is there a name for winning all 4 GS, 9 masters, WTF, OG, DC in a career? The PhD of tennis? Pure Holy Dominance?
Does a player then turn his attention to completing his ATP 500 collection?

What a ridiculous term :D

I rate Fed as the GOAT Personally because of his playing style and Wimbledon dominance and don't particularly rate stats.

Fair play to Djokovic though. Yes it's a weak field but he has been the dominant player still and has done superbly to win almost everything.

Olympics is a meme tournament when it comes to tennis. It's basically just an exhibition like the Hopman Cup.

Hard courts definitely favor Djokovic to win. However, Murray is still confident from coming off Queens-Wimbledon.

Probably. But it's at the point where it's completely worthless. This era is pathetic right now, and novak just has to show up to win. Fed old and injured, Rafa crap and injured, Stan Milos and Kei useless. Only Andy is somewhat competitive right now. Talk about a vacuum.

And you'll never see Novak fans admit it, even though it's obvious. They have no perspective and love to cherry pick stuff.

I’m sure similar threads will be created by Fed fans in 2020.

Mury will once again crush our dreams.

For once I say it's a shame that this piece of junk isn't here anymore.
