What's the big deal if Nadal wins another slam for a Federer fan like me? He's not catching 17 anyway, and at this point I don't care if he does. I'm not 15 anymore. I'm old enough now to realize that there are more important things in life than tennis records.
I think Federer is good enough to come back one more time. Also Nadal can always win the French Open, although he probably lost the mental advantage he had over Djokovic, who had yet to win his first FO.
I wouldn't be surprised if Nadal could win FO or Federer could win Wimbledon. Realistically the answer is no, but it would be nice to see (the weak era comments afterwards would be rather annoying though). I voted yes, because I like to believe in the unbelievable.
Sadly, neither player will ever win another slam. Djokovic, Murray, and possibly someone like Stan or Cilic (Delpo, who knows?) will be taking up those slams.
They are still legends of the game, nonetheless. IMO Djokovic is already in the books, but he is far from over. Hoping Nole goes well above and beyond!
People have no memory. But I remember it all: the never-ending moonballing and mad-dog ball retrieving, the gamesmanship tactics... Bad for tennis, that's what Dr Bull has been.
I would love to seem them win one more each (RG/Wimby), that would surely spark my interest back in the sport. However I think DelPotro has a better chance of winning one.
