I'll tell you what really, on top of his own horrible performance, hurt Federer: the fact that Nadal played Dimitrov in the previous round. That's the best warmup you could ever get. I mean, Nadal practically had to play the same exact match.

I could see him winning in a three set match if he plays lights out and Nadal is off. But no never in a five set match.

Best of 3 format only and conditions have to favor Federer and he has to be on his absolute A game.

I knew since 2009 AO Fed would never beat Nad again in a slam, boycotted Fedal since '10. Got tricked by Edberg my favourite player as "coach" into violating my own principle. Never again. Both things.
