Will FO crowd surprise us again and root for Fed over Monfils?

It may sounds crazy, but instead of rooting for the underdog all the time, i saw them go crazy supporting federer when he was about lo lose to Haas and Acasuso. These guys seem to be in love with Federer. I bet they even dream of him. So, having said that, do u think the atmosphere will be the same as it was against Roddick? i don´t think it will. They will cheer for Monfils but they will worship Federer as always. Have a look at the crowd, they are a bunch of snobby white frenchies who think they have a "superior taste". Monfil is french but its nothing similar to those snobby spectators. We´ll see what happens!

no, monfils will be the clear favorite in the stands. it was already shown during the fed, haas match. the stands were clearly split 50/50 during that match

yep you are spot on. it won't be a hostile crowd. they are in love with Fed like the snobs they are.

It will be a Monfils love fest and he will lap it up as much as he can like last year.

Monfils' enrgy and eh 'get-backabilty' should be a serious worry for Federer. He's like nadal in that regard, and a much better drop shot on him too.
 
Home match for Monfils. Crowd fully in his corner. Only way they pull for Roger is if Monfils gets up 2 sets and a break in the 3rd. Then they might temporarily pull for Roger just to prolong the match.
 
After first set crowd didnt have a chance to cheer for Monfils.

Monfils checked out and Fed took over and crowd was a little shocked, stunned, and probably pissed that Monfils folded like a deck of cards.
