Hello lovely ladies and Gentlemen, Carl here.
First of all, lemme define Hat-Trick for you
In sport of cricket, hat-trick is termed as an achievement for bowler when he/she dismisses the wickets of 3 batsmen off 3 consecutive deliveries.

Now as you've understood this, let's discuss our main topic here.
Well, Maybebe some of you have noticed this pattern at AO, but maybe rather ignored it.
Since the last 2 seasons, it's been a pattern that the defending Atp Tour Finals' champion is knocked over (or in harsh words, gets crushed) by Milos Raonic at the Australian open, despite being the odds favourite.
For reference,
1) Alexander Zverev was the defending champion of 2018 Tour finals coming into 2019 AO, Milos took him down 6-1 6-1 7-6
2) Stefanos Tsitsipas was the defending champion of 2019 Tour finals coming into 2020 AO, Milos took him down 7-5 6-4 7-6
3) Daniil Medvedev is the defending champion of 2020 Tour finals coming into 2021 AO, ??????????????????????????
And the coincidence is, all 3 winners are NextGen players.
Will Raonic be able complete the hat-trick by taking down the Russian? Or will they won't even play each other? Or will Medvedev stop the hat trick and beat the big serving Canadian himself??
Thanks for your time,
Please keep the discussion respectful and funny (not offending though).
-Carl Thompson.
