Oh well there's always this year's US Open. Denial wears off after a while

You've lost your mind if you really think that. This is the problem with the internet, people take no pride in what they write

hey nadal_slam_king, how are your predictions of rafa winning 5-6 slams in a row doing ?

You have zero sense of shame, don't you ?

If Nole brings his AO 2011 form, he will likely beat Nadal at every hard court slam.

oh come on ksbh, Novak played just ordinary in the AO 2011 final . Listen to the wise guys, Heracles and rafaRG2005 ( aka nadal_slam_king aka nadal_bulls aka nadalwonUSO2009 )

Ha ha, those forum members are out of their stupid minds! I hope these 2 players bump into each other at the U.S Open this year so this argument can be settled.

Nole was a joy to watch at this years AO!

I sure as h3ll hope he does. :)

But of course in usual fashion

IF Nadal does loose it will be because of injury, not because he was outplayed

that's a long time to go. Wonder how both of them will be playing by then. Novak certainly played his very best at this AO :)

Well so far on hardcourts Nadal has won all the most important matchs, including their slam final and the semi of the Olympics.

It proves the contrary.

When Nadal plays well, he has the victory.

Another problem with the internet I see, username confusion

no, its blindingly obvious from your posts - your style of posting and the fact that the stupidity levels of the posts are about the same. Its hard for another person to be as stupid as N_S_K aka you

If Nole brings his AO 2011 form, he will likely beat Nadal at every hard court slam. The question is, can Nole keep that form consistently? I think he can but this year will tell.
Have you seen Sir Rafa play??? you hater :)

We'll know about Nole's form when he faces Rafa in a HC slam. Till then Rafa >> Nole.

Just because 2 users both use the laugh emoticon after posts (I assume this is the similarity) it doesn't make them the same person

No, wrong assumption. Try again, N_S_K. First lets know how many hours were you crying after your precious nadal got bulldozed by fellow Spanish player ferrer and who managed to console you ?

You win the stupid contest very easily. You are stupid enough to confuse me with others and you are stupid enough to think Djokovic played better in the AO Final than he played in the US Open Final, when clearly Murray didn't even stretch Djokovic enough to ask a high level of him

I dunno , LOL. But if you read his posts again, I'm sure you'll realise that is him

Indeed! I don't know why he's hiding in the first place, no one could have predicted that Rafa would go and injure himself.

you fail again, N_S_K. Try a different account and maybe try to post something apart from saying rafa is great, rafa is great, rafa is great ......blah blah blah, rafa is injured when he is loses ... blah blah blah ... rafa is great , rafa is great ... blah blah

Then maybe you can hide. Till then, you'll continue to be ridiculed.

I guess he said a lot of things to rile people up, someone even started a thread with his name, that was deleted. He's prolly reading everything here, resisting the urge to reply.

you forgot about him and his posts on 'blood-spinning' treatment for tendonities ? When he was posting like he was a medical expert ? When he was saying nadal wouldn't be injured in the future ?

he was ignoring the ferrer match and dreaming about nadal winning the AO without losing a set ( and posting about that here ).

Put these together , it's no surprise, he had to create a new account !

You know Djokovic was never forced by Murray to reach a level of tennis close to the US Open Final so you go to your N_S_K fantasy

Is RAFA2005RG really nadal_slam_king?

I think he's too embarrass about guaranteeing Nadal will win the Rafa Slam, that's why he must start all over again with a new identity(new username).

Oh yes! That!

Well once clay season is back, nsk can assume his old identity once again. :)

firstly, he's fixed his serve, serve is not all about %s and pace, its also a lot about placement. Secondly murray did test him at times, novak's defence was just too good ( one of the reasons for murray's high UE count ) and he turned defence into offense very well.

P.S. I know there is a very slim chance this will penetrate your rafa-filled skull, I just decided to give it a go. Also so that other posters will see some sense in this thread

At the US Open Joker's 1st serve% was 66% and average 1st serve speed was 117mph. That's almost identical to the Australian Open numbers. By the way, everybody saw how passive Murray played the Final compared with the way Rafa played the US Open Final. You've really messed up in this thread, it's great fun to read though

I'm in the minority but I was surprised that Djokovic lost in the 2010 U.S. Open final. He played with way too much respect and definitely didn't have that "look" that he had in the Aussie final.

You are clueless.

Djokovic did not hit insane shots at the AO final. Murray was on an error fest mode and Djokovic almost felt asleep.

You can produce a 20-25 minutes of highlights real from the USO final , you could barely make a 5 minutes of higilights from the AO final.

People don't admit it because it's Nadal who won, but the final of the USO produced the best quality of tennis last year.

It was just fantastic

LMFAO at Nadal's C'mon at around the 38 second mark

Also, to the idiot a.k.a abmk just go to the 2:41 mark and listen to what the commentator says and tell me if anyone could say that in the AO2011 final

Djokovic is the better player on hardcourts?

Then why Nadal won the most importants matchs? Final of IW, Final of the USO and semi of the Olympics. He also beat Djokovic two times at the WTF.

Nadal wins the big matchs against Djokovic bon hardcourt because Nadal at his best is the best player.

Djokovic played much better in the USO final than he did in the OA final. But Nadal was just way too good.

Nadal was unbeatable in that USO final, and if the rain did not come he would probably have won in straight set.

Djokovic didn't play half as well as he was playing at the AO SF and final. What matches were you watching?

Well, Murray had beaten Nole 3 straight times (and in straight sets IIRC) going into AO final and what happened? Nole smoked him in straight sets. The past doesn't mean much.

Have you seen Sir Rafa play??? you hater :)

As the peerless Underhand would say, I'm proud of it! :)

How come Federer fans can congratulate both Djokovic and Murray for their results at the AO while some Nadal fans bring up unrelated subjects such as the USO win against Djokovic? Do you guys not feel confident enough in your player? Yes, we know how good he is and his ranking reflects that. It doesn't mean he's unbeatable and its OK to congratulate other players, too.

I agree with this post, but I also think Murray was really nervous again. For some reason he's letting the pressure get the better of him in those slam finals.

Ya but he was not playing autochoke in the us open.

Would be a very brave person to put money on Djokovic (or anyone) beating Rafa in a grand slam final on any surface

Will Nadal ever beat Ferrer in Australian open?

Or US Open? Ferrer beat him 6-7(3), 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-2 at 2007 USO.

Will Nadal ever beat Ferrer in a hard court grand slam or is Ferrer simply too good in 5 set hard court tennis? In the two 5 set matches they have played Nadal has taken 1 set altogether and needed a tie break for that.

Both times Nadal was injured.

In 2007 he even said that if it was not a GS he would not have entered the tournament. He had special knee treatment right before the tournament and it was a big concern for everyone to see if he could win even 1 match.

Murray is absolutely nothing when he plays a slam final.

At the French Open and Wimbledon, I doubt it ever happening.

At the Australian and U.S Open though it should happen eventually at both.

LOL, siding with those clueless morons, are you now ? How surprising ?

Who said AO 2011 final was of good quality or that USO 2010 wasn't ? I didn't. But again you can't read properly again, can you ?

Here again, make an attempt to read stuff again

Just that unlike what the troll Heracles says, djoker played VERY well in the AO 2011 finals.

You are siding with the moron who says this regarding djoker in AO 2011 final: ( Guess what that makes you )

Djokovic was very average and did a lot of UE

US Open: Djokovic 66% of first ball at 117 mph

Australian Open: 67% of first ball at 119 mph

It's basically the same

Fantastic. Show us the placement and spin of the serves now. You can't just look at those and assume they are the same.

When you say finals do you mean the QF, SF and F combined? If so then yes I will agree that he played VERY well, BUT if you're talking just the Final I would have to say that the only reason he won it so convincingly was because Murray keeps ****ting bricks in GS finals.

There is no way that you can honestly say that Djoker played MUCH better in the 2011AO final compared to the 2010USO final. Different conditions, different opponents. Considering Nadal is better on slower courts than faster ones and considering the heat (which makes the balls bounce higher) I'm tipping Rafa in USO2010 form would've beaten Djoker who didn't really have to do much except wait for Murray's errors. In fact Djoker had a closer W/UE ratio in the USO final (-2) compared to AO final (-7), but the slower conditions would've had a bit of a factor in that as well where you make less winners and more UE's due to extended points BUT that suits Nadal better than anyone considering he probably makes less UEs than anyone else. Also, the serving was VERY similar on Djoker's behalf and we all know how many times Rafa had BP opportunities.
